It was difficult to discern whether she was joking or not. Her soft smile implied she was, her tone implied she wasn't.

She blinked once

''He might succeed. But I am curious: how does he flirt? I theorise that he does so like a drill sergeant...Did he kiss you before asking you to drop and give him twenty?''

Zeno didn't seem the least bit bashful about any of the chat.

"Und vhat of you miss Zyn? Vhat do you seek? Vhy do you train, compete, and improve? To vhat end?"

Zeno nods, "Yes, you mentioned that. How has your research and study been going on crystal syntesis Baesal?"

''I have a good grasp on the basics but the process is very expensive. I will likely need to study a basis in alchemy to improve the final product.''

"I can imagine it's quite expensive. If they weren't difficult to create, everyone and their cousin would be running around with them," he says with a chuckle.
