Space. Eternal Frontier. Woo! Moyr followed her principle of not giving up on failure. It was not a skewed simulator like the day before but a genuine ship. She cruised in glee across zero G. But then honeymoon was over with something exploding in the cargo load. She tried to seal it off, but the fire continued, setting her for a rough landing. And a rough ride it was! After several bumps Moyr started losing cargo and the emergency landing was full of deafening squee that was hard to define. Fear or exuberance? She was not sorry. --- Piloting (Space): 2 successes, 2 threats, Destiny used Computers: 3 failures Piloting (Planetary): 2 failures No graduation points! |

Duros are a space faring species. Rumun did have some basic skills with navigation so he volunteered for this task. He managed to pass succesfully some asteriods, although the experience was a bit scary at first. Those were very big asteroids. Suddenly there was an explosion and Rumun tried to control the situation with the ship main computer. But the damage was critical. This was not going to end well. As he entered the atmosphere he lost control of the ship. All the alarms were activated, soon the controls shut down and the ship suffered a complete blackout. He crushed, really hard. The entire ship suffered critical damage. All cargo was lost, and Rumun himself suffered grievous wounds. Was he alive? *************** [OOC - Rolls] D3 - Fly Casual Piloting/Space: 1eA+1eP+2eD+1eS 1 success, 3 threat D3 - Fly Casual Intellect/Computers: 3eA+3eD 1 failure D3 - Fly Casual Piloting Planetary; Using Destiny: 1eA+1eP+1eD+1eC+1eS 1 success, 1 Despair D3 - Fly Casual ; Critical Injury; With my luck I will die with just this roll: 1d100 47 All cargo lost Suffered critical injury: 47 [All Cunning and Intellect rolls increase their difficulty by 1, Great] Used 1 destiny on the third roll |

Remmington volunteers for the job since it's an opportunity to pilot a vehicle in space. He flies through the debris field with no issues. The small bits of debris bounce harmlessly off the ship's shields... or so he thinks until warning sounds alert him to damage. He quickly flips the ship to auto-pilot and finds and repairs the damage. He rushes back just in time to somehow land the ship. Technically a crash is considered a landing. Miraculously the cargo seems to be intact. Any crash you can walk away from as they say. Asteroids... no Debris Piloting Space (Agility). 2eA+2eD+1eS = 1 success, 2 threat What was that? Mechanics (Intellect). Mental Tools. 2eA+1eP+1eB+3eD = 4 successes, 1 threat Hard Landing Piloting Planetary (Agility). Upgrade with Destiny. 1eA+1eP+2eD+1eS = 1 failure, 1 triumph +1 Grad Point Link to PF/ |

Slaves approach the wreckages first getting the Duros to safety, his body filled with cuts and covered in blood but he was alive. Then they aided the others and are surprised to find that Remmington somehow managed to get the cargo down intact. Mandalorian mercenaries approach keeping a safe distance from the fireball. One open brings a holo-communicator which shows a small image of Zash who looked terribly annoyed. She said to the Mandalorian, “I blame you, your men were unreliable and I had to rely on students and apparently now I have just junk!” “Hey my boys are reliable… and one of them kids kept the cargo intact, the ship less so,” the Mandalorian replied. “One out of three!” Zash said with irritation. She addressed the students, “What in the bloody hell happened?” |

"Thanks for the assistance." Remmington says to the slaves. He decides to check up on the others. / May I offer medical assistance to Rumun? Will be doing a Medicine check on Rumun later. / |

Since Moyr was the only one who both lost some cargo and was in a shape to speak, stated what needed to be said. "All was smooth. Lord Zash, until a small explosion in the load occurred in midflight. So the vessel was either subpar or sabotaged." |

"Someone bring me a medical kit here right now." Remmington calls out to one of the slaves. Still inexperienced he bandages the Duros as best as he can. Wrapping part of his head with some bandages. Then he gives some orders to the slaves. "Make sure to take him to the medical bay. If his head hurts rub some aloe vera on his foot." Trying to patch up Rumun. Medicine/Int. Medical supplies available. 3eA+1eBe+2eD = 2 successes, 3 threat |

Zash was quiet, “To have three ships fail like that… bloody sabotage.” The Mandalorian nodded, “That looks like it, hell of a thing these craft aren’t in more pieces.” The duros’ ship explodes. “Well more pieces I suppose.” “You, aspirant. Inspect the damage, find out how this was done,” Zash ordered. |

"Understood, Lord Zash." Moyr nodded without excessive deference and proceeded to investigate. [Perception?] |

Moyr was quite adept at finding faults, malfunctions and other reasons things broke. This was no exception, and Mandalorian assistance only made things easier. Perception: 1 success, 3 advantage - each advantage for more complex insight into what happened [as per skill description] |

She finds scorch marks from an explosive device hidden near the main engine lines. The scouring marks and force are military grade. Whoever it was had maintenance access to the craft and the evidence seems to suggest standard issue military shaped charge. |

Moyr reconnected with Zash. She kept her voice level down. "Lord Zash, there was an explosive device planted near the main engine lines. Marks point to the use of military equipment, standard charge. Whoever did it had access to the maintenance of the craft. Maybe it was an infiltrator lashing back after what we did earlier today." Or another fun test of yours. |

The duros barely moves. He opened his eyes but he couldn't hear anything that was going on. He only remembers an explosion and the alarms from the ship. The only thing he could hear were bells. A quite acute ringing in his head. ... |

Remmington has been able to see to the severe head concussion that Rumun suffered. Meanwhile Lord Zash listened and then said darkly, “Skotia.” “You, aspirant, have been useful to me. I may call upon you in the days to come,” Zash responded in a sweet tone. OOC: Remmington is able to heal the critical injury to Rumun. |

''ugh... Lord... Lord Zash... I...'' Rumun looked at the Sith. '' I failed you... '' There was nothing more to say. Rumun was waiting for his punishment. This was the sith way. ''... so miserably. I am ready for punishment.'' He looked at her. He was determined. He failed there was not other way. The Sith way was clear what happens with failures. |

“Stop your blubbering aspirant,” she says looking at Rumun. “You are an idiot and you are weak, yet this failure was orchestrated by one I desire dead above all others. Wish to redeem yourself then I have a proposition,” she replies with a wickedly beautiful smile. |

'' Of course, my Lord'' He replies as he kneels. He waits for Lord Zash plan. Yes, he was weak. He was weak. Rage began to fill his heart. Weakling... Your are a weakling. You need to find those that made you such a weakling. |

“Skotia favors a student, her name is Thaya, an Imperial. Kill her, you have my backing and no harm will come to you. Normally I opt for more sophistication and subtlety, but today I just want her to suffer,” she replies warmly. |

And you've been useful to me, sweetheart. "Of course, Lord Zash." After the dismissal, Moyr looked around for a speeder to hop on to return to the Academy while mingling a bit with the Mandalorians. "So, that dude Skotia has decided to screw you and your arrangements with Lord Zash. Are you going to do something about it?" |

Remmington quiet listens to the conversation. "I guess you are okay there?" He asks the Duros. He looks over the the twi'lek. "I assume you are right as rain there acolyte?" Turning his attention to Lord Zash. "Shall I take a look over the ships? There may be something in the maintenance logs or computers to find the person who planted these bombs?" |
