''Hey...err...Remmington, correct?''

She rolls from under the vehicule and sits up

''Yeah, well I'm not made of credits you see.''

Remmington nods. "That's right and you are acolyte Baesal Zyn."

He casually takes out a hilt and puts a red ilum crystal in it. He flips the switch and a ZZOOOWNNNG sound emits as a red blade appears.

"Groovy." He switches it off and clips the hilt to his belt.

"Neither am I. Lightsabers are not cheap. Plus there are some things I want to try building too."

''My next project will be expensive so I need to be diligent.''

She retained a sigh and continued on

''And what would those projects be?''

"Aside from making my lightsaber the best that it can be, I want to build a speeder and/or starfigher as well. Well I guess I can settle with something like a customized freighter as well and convert it into a mobile base/home."

Remmington replies before he flips the question. "What project are you working on?"

''A weapon prototype'' she simply says

''It could prove very useful to someone like myself.''

"A prototype weapon? How exciting. Please be sure to show it to me when you are done then." Remmington says with a bit of excitement.

"Of course if you want some help I will be happy to lend my assistance as well." He grins much like a kid that just got a shiny new toy.

"I'll think about it"

She probably would not do it since the schematics would be easy to steal.

"Doing well at the academy?"

"Well I didn't get killed... so I guess that is doing pretty good all things considered." Remmington comments as he looks around for something else to work on.

''Yeah, this place is batshit sometimes''

She removes some grease with her towel

''Do you pilot?''

Remmington shakes his head. "Not yet. Though I think I may want to train into that after I get my current skills up to an acceptable level."

He spots what he is looking for a smiles. Making a mental note to himself. He turns back to Baesal. "I heard you have some interesting theories as well. Merging machines and the Force."

''I think it was used before by a race known as the Rataka''

She turns to look at the machinery

''And I have no idea why such avenue as not been explored before''

Remmington nods. "They created the Infinite Empire and had some very impressive technology that is lost to even us today. I thought it was perfectly natural. Especially when you consider the relics they left behind such as holocrons."

"Some may argue why reinvent the wheel. Some may counter that with because it's fun." Remmington grins a bit.

"Still it is rather amazing that the Rakata were so advanced that even as we are now we cannot match their technology. You could even call it Lost Technology. That being said we have no obligation to follow in their footsteps. Maybe one day we can build something to rival what they created. Something that we can truly call our own."

"Hmph" she retourned to her work

"Maybe we did not acheive as much because we did not bother to try"

"So which are you attempting Baesal? Rediscovering something old? Or developing something new?" Remmington asks as he finds something to work on next.

''Both if I can, the latter if I had to choose''

She said while fixing the speeder's chassi

''I got a hell lot of special projects''

Remmington chuckles a bit. "Don't we both. If I find anything good I'll let you know. Though building a starship is going to take a lot of time."
