The Dark Academy on Korriban

Zeno walks into the infirmary and takes off his top, heavy from being blood soaked and resistant layers in the material, and covered in now moist dust and sand. He sits down on a table. His face is in a scowl that would tell anyone present he was not too terribly happy about his current condition.

"Get to work," he orders one of the droids. There is a bite mark on his torso... the size of his torso. It looks like it has already been stimpacked.

Xevine was still dusty as she arrived. She made sure both speeder were put back without issue first, Zeno seemed to be able to walk back in.

"You feeling better?"

"I think I'm going to be sore for a while. I haven't gotten a report from the droids yet but I imagine a few ribs are broken," he say as he looks town at a line of teeth marks on his belly. As he does so, one of the medical droids is working on the holes in his back.

He was not an overly muscular man, but he was definitely lean, fit and covered in scars and blood.

It was hard, moving that is. When they finally arrived back at the Academy Kristal's usual habit of checking up at the Med-Bay wasn't a question. Walking in on her own as she was adamant of it when speaking with Sylvain. It was only half way here that she realized just how much easier the stimpacks had been making the journey on her. Feeling a rather crippling amount of pain. It didn't stop her, but the effect of it was clear enough in her paleness to any that were near as she walked.

Turning herself over to the staff, they went to work immediately on ensuring the health of not only a Serasai but one of the Academies rising stars. That these wounds were inflicted by a lightsaber was not hard to tell and likely spurred some form of chatter about. Mostly all onlookers would see would be the open holes in her clothing with scorched fabric.

Under their care, Kristal would heal her Critical Injury.

Well this was a bloody mess, so many students in the infirmary. He frowned and says to the students, “So what happened?”

Looking to the Captain, Zeno spoke up. "Not sure about her," indicating Kristal, "but Xevine and I ran into what we think is Death's Shadow. Tuk'ata about 5 times the size as a normal one. Busting through metal walls. Trying to eat my torso. Nothing too bad though, since I'm still alive."

Given the extent of her injuries, Kristal was a bit... quiet at the moment. Not from inability but she wasn't exactly feeling up to jumping up to answer all that readily. Since Zeno had, it gave her a moment of reprieve as the staff saw to her.

Giving Harad the chance to sort out each matter, one at a time. Knowing full well he would likely still seek her answer more directly when he was able.

“And what the bloody hell were you doing out there, you think being a Sith aspirant makes you invincible? Bloody hell it looks like he nearly ate you. Where did you see him? He moves around, smart bugger, if he stayed put we could call in ordinance,” the Captain replies in a stern almost paternal manner.

"I didn't get the coordinates," Zeno admits. "I was preoccupied with not dying unfortunately." There is no humor in his voice.

"Just looking around. Not sure where it was located, it was just wanderlust. I understand there's a bounty? Asked Xevine

“Not by my doing, I don’t need idiots going to out to get themselves killed. Ensign Hines put one up though, two thousand credits is what they have raised,” the Captain responds.

“I say steer clear of it.”

"It's name is certainly no joke," Zeno says shaking his head. "Lucky to make it out alive thanks to Xevine's quick thinking."

“He’s old, supposedly the Jedi had records on him before we took Korriban,” the Captain says.

“Anyone die out there?” He really hopes that is a no despite Sith predilections to the contrary.

"Nope. It was just the 3 of us. And I think I was the only one that got bit, unless the smaller packs nipped aspirant Khalim. But I don't think they did." He honestly didn't remember. He only remembered a lot of adrenaline and blood.

“Well you are damn lucky to even be here,” Captain Harad says.

“I am going to have my men scour that region and maybe we can catch the beast before it flees to another hunting ground.”

Zeno nods in agreement. "Some skill, mostly luck. Xevine made us an escape route that it couldn't follow us through."

“Bloody lucky, you lot. I don’t understand you Sith and the draw to them blasted ruins,” he says with a shake of his head.

“But at this point you are fine, I won’t worry about it.”
