Baesal was sitting in her room unpacking 'her stuff' and getting familiar with her installation when her comm link buzzed




The Togruta smiles and took the device

''Hoy there Moyr! Where are you? I have been looking around for your wiggly taped butt for around an hour!''

''Oh blast! Your trek was way more interesting then mine then...and you sure found yourself into a nice spot. Once you come back, gobbling aside, I can try to fix the pad for you and we could go back to inspect the wrecks on the morrow.''

A pause

''Sounds good to you?''

''Mhhm'' was the answer for a while coupled with the sound of tapping

''I think I got it...it is not precise but I'm sure you can find the place again once we get close.''

The Togruta smiled while sitting on her bed

''Anything else, dear? I could plug in some music to keep you from getting bored if you want''

Baesal chuckled

''Aww, poor thing...imagine me patting you on the head right now...don't worry Auntie Zyn will remain with you if you want.''

She laid on her bed, hands behing her head to relax while the comm rested on her chest

''My day was fine thus far, I did not get lost to find a pile of loot but I'll manage to get over it. The room is okay...but not anything fantastic: I might very well be resting on a slab of kinda soft rock''

''You'd like that would'nt you?" she said, grinning ear to ear ''But I would'nt imagine you had a thing for older women...I guess my chances will only go up as I age though, te-he-he''



She looked around the room for careful analysis

''I guess we have luxurious rooms by desert monk standards. Imagine that: we have a whole of 4.6 meter by 4.6 meter room! We also have the added benefit of not having windows so that pesky sun-stuff won't be able to bother us. The palace of a room contains a wonderfuly hand-crafted, mass-produced desk and locker along with a terminal aaaaaand...''

*Drum roll with fingers on wonderfuly hand-crafter, mass-produced desk sound*

''...a single-wide bed I can use as a somewhat soft crafting station...its like they made that room just for me.''

''I will have to check for security but I don't see any right now. I don't know if the other rooms are occupied but there is more then ample room on the floors here. Relocation should be easy...we could also probably use empty rooms for other purposes''

Baesal tapped on the walls

''Walls seems to be made out of stone, thickness is impossible to determine but I'd wager its rather thick. This place feels like a tomb.''

Baesal nodded

''I'll check it now but it might take a little long since I want to keep these things inder wraps...''

She moved from the bed to the desk chair and plugged her pad in the terminal

''Starting...now''

Moyr could only hear the sound of quick tapping for a while, the Togruta fully into her work

''Ooh, your find is getting better and better! Faln was a student some six months ago who went missing during a training mission and was given up for dead. He was from a minor noble family from a colony world so...he was satisfactory and quickly forgotten. He was working with Lord Zash on some project when he went missing in the Valley of the Dark Lords and he apparently may have stolen a lightsaber crystal...congrats dear but I hope you can find it.''

A few other keystrokes yielded another result

''The slave was designated T456781, it was brought in for heavy labor and absconded into the desert. Originated from Hutt space and brought in by some Ensign Hines. The slave spent time in the infirmary before he absconded, there record of some superficial surgery but the records are spotty...and if the records of a surgery made in what is essentialy a military base is 'spotty' you can be sure something nefarious was afoot. I'd check his body for some surgery scars...maybe something was put there or was removed. Ensign Hines is to be investigated as well''

''Oh! More then that, dear! It possibly gives us leverage with that Ensign Hines or good will from the Head of security if we report what we might find...''

With that she began typing once more

''...and if you find the shiny bit, I'll try to find pieces tomorrow for a hilt''

''Err, what?'' was Baesal reaction before radio silence.

Oh great, now what?



''Yeah, I did. But what was that radio silence just now?''

''Oh now your just being a tease! Come on! Tell me what happened!?''

''And what's wrong with that!'' she made her best effort to make an audible pout

''But allright...I'll plug in some music for you. You have a preference?''
