The moment felt religious, and Moyr treated it as such. She rose, straightened, held the hilt in extended hand reverently but firmly, then unlocked the case. As it popped open, she carefully inserted the crystal, intuitively positioning it at an angle that would sharpen the edge of light, ensuring greater lethality. Her eyes closed, and so she did with the case. Turning the hilt vertically, she took two steps back, away from Baes. And then, she turned in on. The buzzing glow of white-lined redness of her lightsabre was mesmerising. For a moment, she couldn't speak, feeling a power surge, real or imagined. A scary grin curved up her lips. "Passion. I'll call it Passion." |
