Breakfast, the most important meal of the day. Not that this would ever really be called a meal but it was sustenance at least. Kept them moving and able bodied. Finding herself with some after a morning routine, and a shower. Orderly and precise, as always with a woman practically trained for the Imperial Military Kristal sat at a table and saw to the last preparation for her day. |

Grenda peered at her tray and sighed. Maybe one day they would have deep fried locusts or those lovely ant larvae from Nubia on the menu . . . who was she kidding. Nutrient paste it was. Sitting down she stared across to see who else was around this early. |

Something Kristal herself did on occasion. Seeing the Rodian here, well, there was something to be said about a Rodian who seemed to be making it as Sith. Some instructors even seemed to favor them in some of the previous tests. It was surprising. Someone to know, perhaps. Raising with the efficiency instilled in her she was up within a moment and moved to sit just across from Grenda. Taking the spot there as if it was hers all along. Moving right along with the task she set before herself. "Kristal Serasai, and you are?" |

"Grenda. You are the one that killed the Republic scum, yes?" She abandoned trying to decide if the paste tasted the same or worse than the day before. |

Given the use of non-basic, Kristal insured any translating device she would most certainly had was operating efficiently the moment she heard the foreign tongue. "No," she said honestly, but that was entirely based on viewpoint. "By the time we had found them they were long gone to their old ways. A dog that had gone mad. If anything, when they died it was merely a mercy." |

The Rodian snorted, which was a strange sound from her snout. "All Republic scum deserve what they get. I would not waste any pity on them." |

Well, perhaps that was the attitude that got her such respect among the current class. Normally, perhaps, that wouldn't be so of course, or so she thought. However a few faces flashed by in thought. Each of them a bit too... something, they weren't what she pictured in Sith at least. Certainly, of course, there were some that might dare hold that opinion of herself. "I would waste pity on no one. As I understand if there were those that pitied you; you would not still be here," Kristal offered as conjecture. |

Thorne takes a seat and looks at her paste with little enthusiasm. She says to the other students, “I think this food is a special kind of torture.” |

"There is a distinct difference between pity and recognition of potential." She nodded to the Zabrak, probably in recognition if not agreement. |

"Precisely," she adds. It wasn't quite the tone she'd place on it but well, it wasn't wrong to agree. "There was a time over the past few weeks I think I might have preferred the sessions to the meals," Kristal chimed with the sentiment. |

"I am beginning to even recognise the culinary skill in the emergency ration bars in my survival kit." |

"Have half a mind to buy up the survival rations instead of this.." she said, messing with the paste in a way that showed it off in a rather unappetizing manner. |
