Everyone was in attended, well, perhaps not everyone, but rather a good deal of the people Kristal considered important were. Darth Marr was and that meant she couldn't readily start off on the wrong foot. So she played to her untrained qualities. However, as untrained as she was she was still a Serasai and carried that name with her with elegance in the late morning. It had become apparent to her that she must have made a name for herself already, impressed someone in the right places as aid was offered to her at every turn.

Exactly which skills she decided to display didn't truly matter, just the theme. A theme she kept to with both of the abilities she had shown off this morning. Attempting to display her independence. Skill that would, or could, be useful in war time. Astrogation was a spotty choice perhaps but the strength of showing off a base understanding of medical knowledge for first aid was certainly a strong choice.

It was soothing even. Given her precise calm she held during the examination she almost felt entirely rested afterward. If only she had chosen to do this after the rigorous displays that would follow. Oh well, it was at least a pleasant morning.

Sylvain approached the testing area that morning with the goal of not embarrassing himself. Seeing his father's visage among the different dignitaries in the opening ceremonies did nothing to calm his nerves.

He approached the area where his knowledge of the Dark Side and other practical subjects would be tested.

His answers were impeccable even if the difficulty wasn't something that would inspire admiration.

Khalim takes his turn answering the questions asked of him on the topics of astrogation and the history of the Sith Empire.

Being quite well versed in those topics, perhaps conveniently or perhaps because he just -happened- to study those very questions intently before coming to Korriban, his answers are quite sufficient for the approval of the instructors.

Thorne woke up sandwiched between two Mandalorians, it was not how she wanted to start the day and the pounding headache made things worst. She tried to think but her mind kept pounding so she failed the first part.

OOC: 0 Exam Points.

Although Jo'ren was no scholar he did have an interest in mechanics and was a natural pilot. Selecting those two tests from amongst the exam choices he quickly got to work.

With many people to impress and several more exams to go he answered steadily and surely. Occasionally he wondered if the questions had been made easier for him, but he wasn't going to complain.

As he finished and faced the audience Jo'ren felt entirely satisfied with his start to the day, although it would only get harder from here.

Xevine stood in line to demonstrate her smarts. Knowing that traditional Sith education was not her strong suit, she decided to tackle this as early as possible, while her mind was still fresh. First, she demonstrated knowledge that wasn't found in Sith holocrons or datapads.... that of the underworld of the Empire. No one batted an eyelid at her familiarity of the topic, though she did get some glares from one of the instructors. He seemed to be pretty conservative.

Next, she decided to demonstrate her knowledge of electronic warfare.... which really, wasn't as such. It was pretty basic. Very basic. Like.... "how do I turn this on?" basic.

Serious tests then. Her Corellian friend was always doing all the flying and she used to rely on him, but maybe she could figure it out from memory? She hopped into the simulator.

Nope. She wanted to get to Takodana, but ended in some fucking asteroid belt and crashed into one. But hey, she did it with smile and style, relaxed till the end.

Astrogation: S0 A2. http://orokos.com/roll/446401
Piloting: F2 A3. http://orokos.com/roll/446402

Something troubled her. Was it not supposed to be the easy part?

Someone had dragged her out to go do... thinky stuff. Exactly what the point of it was still escaped her, but whatever. At least she got a choice of subjects. Too bad she was shit at all of them. Mechanics was as good a choice as any other, so she went with that first.

"Suppose my speeder's broken down, Aspirant. There's a coolant leak in the secondary and tertiary drive couplings caused by an overload from the flux capacitor. Could you tell me how to fix it?"

"...No. Fix it yourself."

"I beg your pardon?"

"Fuck off."

It was the most memorable moment of her mechanics exam. Also the only moment because it was pretty damn apparent she didn't know a damn thing about mechanics.

Next up then, was the medicine exam. Maybe being nearly sliced in two would help her through this one? Well, of course the answer was going to be no. Still, she managed to impress several members of the audience with new and inventive ways of poisoning someone. Too bad the questions pertained to saving people, not murdering them.
