Since the age of four Jun-Tsu Farro had been taught the ways and lore of the Dark Side, the Sith, even the ancient Dark Je'daii. She had learned what most had forgotten and with it a smattering of other knowledges. Today would test House Farro and its teachings. Had they prepared one of their scions for the rigors of the Dark Academy?
Jun-Tsu stepped into the private chamber where her examiner waited. She sat in the chair provided, and spared only a glance to the walls and decor. It felt barren here, sterile. She could not tell if she considered it unnerving or calming. She took in a deep breath and looked to her examiner, who looked back and began.
He sat clinically across from her as he assessed and evaluated her. At each step his bias against the primitives was apparent, and while she had difficulty discussing astrogation and technology, her understanding of the history of the Sith and the complex philosophies of and lore of the Force were beyond reproach.
Likewise, her training under her great-grandmother in the surgical arts had proven a godsend as she exposited with great detail and glee the finer aspects of herbalism, pharmacology, internal medicine, and the healing arts. In the end the examiner could not break the young woman who, after two hours of examination had felt the strain of her examiners endless questioning. Finally, presumably disgusted by his own failure he dismissed her.
