Zeno entered the museum, a bit excited to be working with a Lord to fix the holocron and begin the search for an even greater prize. It was a rare opportunity to say the least, but that is what the academy granted. Rare opportunities to succeed and prove ones worth, or fail and fall to obscurity. He had sent messages to Gerald and Baesal to meet here at around this time, though neither yet knew that there was a holocron involved. |

Baesal arrived loaded with all of her gear "I'm here! When do we begin!?" She said with unveiled enthousiasm |

"When Lord Zash arrives... though I suspect the memory cores will really take a backseat to what we will actually be working on today," he replies, nodding in greeting to the torguta. "I don't know how much experience you have with them, but we'll be attempting to fix a holocron. A rather important one." |

Gerald arrived carrying his datapad and a warm smile, “Hey guys, I am ready to slice some history.” Just as he approached 2V-R6 walked over and said, “Greetings aspirants, Lord Zash has directed me to let you know she will receive you in her private research lab. This way.” The droid does not wait for a reply and started walking. |

"Gerald," Zeno says with a nod to the aspirant. He listens to the droid and then follows it when it guides them to the lab. |

The private research lab was more a miniature museum, with relics secured behind ray shields. Soothing music at a low volume filled the chamber and Lord Zash was standing near a holographic display. The display showed an image of herself which changed as she gestured left or right through different gowns and alluring ensembles. On a central table just behind her was the holocron suspended in air. It was black with red detailing and rotated slowly in suspension. Zash spoke without turning around, “Is this everyone?” Despite her cheery attitude there was chilling darkness, a foreboding that seemed to seep into everything. It was unclear if that was coming from Zash or the relics assembled. |

"Yes, Lord Zash," Zeno replies to the woman. He approaches the holocron, but remains at arms length, simply observing it. "We are gathered." |

Baesal blinked once at the mention of the Holocron "What?" Then the droid came to escort them to the lab. As they entered the Togruta looked around, eyes wide with interest. She composer herself when Zash turned to adress them. "Lord Zash" she said with a how, hoping that this was the right courtesy |

The surprise from Baesal, was entertaining, but he showed nothing of that in his expression. After drinking in the power of the dark that was present here he looked back at his fellow aspirants. This was an opportunity that they likely hadn't expected when they came here and they'd likely get much more out of the next steps than he would, but he was certainly not going to sit on his ass. But this was Lord Zash's show now. |

Gerald nodded and said, “Lord Zash, I am honored to assist.” |

Zash sang a song as she dismissed the hologram and then sauntered towards the holocron wearing a long gown-like robe, it was loosely closed allowing a delicious view of what was underneath as she paused and considered the fcus of the room. She finally said, “We will to channel force energy into it, repair the mechanical and computer systems. It was created by the dark side so it will need the dark side to be whole. Together I am sure we can achieve this.” OOC: Zash will channel dark side energy into the holocron, the rest will need a total of nine successes; Mechanics to repair the physical, Computers to work on the digital, Lore to understand how Holocrons work, or Cool to aid in channeling dark side energy. You get a Boost die from Zash’s guidance and may roll Force die with the roll and add any Dark side as successes or advantage your choice. If you get Threat you take strain. If you get a Despair that threat turns to Wound at a minimum of one wound. Triumph is worth 2 successes. Each player should choose one option. All must roll at least once before we can start again if not enough successes are achieve. If two Despair are rolled over the course of the work the Holocron is permanently damaged. Flipping Destiny to Upgrade the Roll of Baesal and Zeno. |

Zeno begins his efforts at repairing the holocron, focusing his mind and drawing on the knowledge of Lord Zash in the process. The force did not help him with his goal and he felt a bit drained by the effort, but he continued despite it. Mechanics 2 successes, 1 threat, 2 Light No force points generated Total: 2 successes |

ShitShitShitShit, Zeno you son of a bitch She was trapped and she could only move forward. Since it was obvious she could not use the knowledge gleaned from the stolen data, she resolved to do the computing part. Holocron repair, computing: 2eA+2eP+1eD+1eC+1eB+1eF 3 (4 with dark side)) successes, 4 advantage, 1 Dark Side Count the dark side as an additionnal success. (Can I use the advantages to boost the next roll (Gerald's) and regain strain?(boosting is first option) |

Gerald nodded and got to work on the holocron, connecting his datapad but seeing Baesel fdo the computer part he tries to focus his will on the holocron and remain poised, he is helpful. OOC: Gerald wins. Total is 8 now. Fixed. Gerald flips a Destiny to spend Dark for 2 Success and takes 3 strain. Gerald Cool + Force: 1eP+2eA+2eD+1eB+1eF 1 success, 1 threat, 1 Dark Side |

Gods darn it The Togruta clenched her jaws as she tried to finish the work Holocron repair, computing round 2: 2eA+2eP+2eD+1eB+1eF 5 successes, 1 Light Side (not converted into anything) |

Zash smiled as the group completed the work, it was sweet and charming. She looked to Zeno and said, “It is done. We have done well here.” |

"Excellent. This should provide the insight needed to find Lord Hazzan's resting place and help secure entry into it?" Zeno seems quite pleased. |

“Care to do the honors, aspirant,” she said moving around Zeno allowing her fingers trace over his shoulder as she passed. This close she smelled of sweet flowers and immaculate sin. “It seems only fitting since you found it.” |

"Of course, Lord Zash." The sith-blood closes his eyes and focuses on the holocron as he reaches out for it, both physically and through the force. Force: 2 light side, Destiny to generate force points, +1 conflict, +1 strain Total strain for day: 4 |

The holocron opens and an image of a man forms, well it looks to be a man of slim build but the voice is almost decidedly a woman, a bit deeper than most but a woman. She spoke and said, “I am Gyn Hothe, I killed my master and took his power. Not out of selfishness but because I saw that he was going mad with the sickness of the Dark within him. I could not follow his path, I could not become what he was.” “I failed. Out of mercy or sympathy I sealed away his knowledge. I should have destroyed it.” She finished with, “If you seek to complete his legacy; then turn back. This path to power has a cost. I implore you, destroy this holocron. I was weak when I created this and now it is whole once more.” |

"You'll tell us where the tomb is instead," Zeno said. "And what needs to be done to access it." |

Gyn nodded and raised her hand brought up a holographic globe of Korriban. She added, “It has been1726 standard cycles since my last activation.” It shows a point on the globe deep in a crimson desert in a remote but deep canyon. Gyn spoke, “You will need this holocron to access the interior. It takes three to open the inner sanctum and only by returning to the Force can the final seal be unlocked.” “This holocron has no other information on the interior. That information was cleared 1741 standard cycles ago.” |

"Well," Zeno says looking to Lord Zash with a smile. "Looks like we have a location." He focuses on Gyn once more. What other data does this holocron have?" |

Lord Zash smiled and then put the coordinates into her system and compared them to a modern map grid. She said, “Indeed we do, and I have an urge to go tomb raiding. Care to join me when the time comes?” |
