The sith-blooded aspirant enters the museum to access the archives. He wanted to do a little bit of research and hoped there might be something available within the data accessible by students. He looked for that handy droid that seemed to like helping people out.

Remmington stops by the museum again. This is quickly becoming his familiar territory. He finds an unfamiliar face however. Offering the other student a bow. "Good evening acolyte."

Remmington receives a returned bow, then introduces himself tersely, though it doesn't seem like he is annoyed or anything. Just simply spoken. "Aspirant. Zeno Deathwright."

"How have you found the tests so far?" Remmington asks. "I think I saw you around a couple times."

"They've been sufficiently challenging. It's much what I expected from the academy," the sith-blood replies. "How did your orientation go earlier?"

Meanwhile, Layne stalked through the halls in search for any and all information on Lord Oshin. Perhaps in time she would cross paths with the others there; but for now she had a hunger for knowledge. She wanted information free from personal bias. Hopefully there'd be a droid around to help her find what she was looking for.

2V-R6 approached and said, “Greetings aspirants, how may I help you?”

Giving Remmington a 'hold on a moment' signal he turns to the droid. "I was looking for information on the creature called Death's Shadow. I was hoping there might be something in the archives about sites where attacks took place or reports of sightings."

"There is no information in the official archives on Death's Shadow," the droid replied.

"There are 345 entries for a wrestler in the Outer Rim, 56898765432 entries under gaming, and several Sith. None for a creature on Korriban."

"Hmm. I see. Thank you," he says. "That was all for me."

He turns back to Remmington. "Looks like I'm going to have to find my information some other way."

"The orientation was surprisingly little more than a walk in the park thanks largely to the companions I happened to be with. I hope you did not face too much trouble." Remmington replies.

Seeing Layne he greets her with a bow. "Evening Acolye Hoshin. How are you feeling?"

To the droids question he answers. "I wish for information and/or maps of the Restricted Tombs and the Deep Wilds."

Looking back to Zeno. "Death's Shadow?"

Layne tried... and tried. But the stupid computer was obviously broken somehow because it wasn't given her what she wanted.

"For fuck's sake!" she kicked the base of the terminal in anger.

Then to make matters worse, someone said hi to her.

"You, fix this computer for me."

"The first day I got a bit lost, but had a significant find that has turned out to be a boon, so it seems to have been worth the detour. The orientation today went very well though. I definitely could have done better on my Astrogation test but overall there was not much more I could do to impress the staff."

Zeno looks to the angry woman beating up the computer.

"A bit presumptuous, aren't you?" he replies to the slave's demands.

"No," she answered his rhetorical question with a glare. She obviously wasn't a slave anymore; certainly not in attitude.

2V-R6 brings the requested data to Remmington and said to Layne, “I am 2V-R6, how can I assist you aspirant?”

"I would disagree. You presume that anyone he has the ability to fix what you're trying to break," the sith-blood say with a chuckle. "Also, I'm not about to take orders from a fellow acolyte. I don't know about acolyte Thalalas here, but when someone wants a favor from me I prefer when they say 'pretty please'."

"Sith don't say please. Sith demand."

After all, that's what a proper Sith lord told her.

She turned to the droid then, which was obviously going to be more useful.

"Walk with me."

Assuming the droid complied, and as soon as they were out of immediate earshot;

"I need everything you can get me on Lord Oshin. Specifically where to find his tomb. Also, anything on the Killing Fields."

He smiled as the woman departed. "That one is trouble. There's a difference between embracing your anger and spewing it all over everyone."

Remmington was about to ask her what she was looking up before she stormed off. He looks over the data that the droid brought him. Of course there will not be much that is public.

Looking over to Zeno. "You both bring up valid points. Some Sith use rage to fuel their power. I am glad that she is at least taking studying seriously." He casually comments.

He decides to trying hacking in the computer systems to see if he can find out anything more about the Tombs while Layne keeps the droid busy as it will probably report this to the higher ups if it sees what he is doing.

"So you found something good on your detour?" He asks.

"I did," he said. "A fight, a sage, and a holocron. Was a pretty exciting day."

Post subject:  Re: [D2 LE] Shadow of a Doubt

"Those are some interesting things to find. What did you fight out there? Some wild creature? I was not aware that there was a sage in the wastes." Remmington comments.

"Holocrons are almost always a valuable find. You are quite fortunate."

"It was broken, but now is fixed. It's in the possession of Lord Zash who seemed to truly appreciate me bringing it to her and helping with the repairs. The sage? He may have been a little crazy, but he helped me find the other two things. And I fought three old combat droids that thought they could lay a blade on me. They were proven quite wrong. You had any adventures yet?"

The droid returned with a datapad on Lord Oshin, or what they had. He was a peer of Ajunta Pall and served him and was a general in his armies. He was once a Jedi but saw the truth of things and conquered many worlds and was known as a tactical fighter and nearly unbeatable. It is said that he died before Ajunta Pall was exiled to Ziost.

The Killing Fields are in the Deep Wastes and are a crimson sea of dunes and jagged rocks. Said to be dangerous due to frequent sandstorms and quicksand traps, it is largely unexplored as there is nothing out there of relevance.

"What about his tomb? Where is it? Are there any structures out in the killing fields?"
