Continuing to be pushed back, he continues his conversation. "Oh you. Always so defensive. Have I ever let you down?" He chuckles as he backflips out of the way of a strike and lands in a split, before stopping the next one that came at his head.

She roll her eyes

''A girl's got to have secrets and no ones likes a peeping tom''

"You're breaking my heart, here Baesal," he says wiping a fake tear from his eye mid dodge, and speaking in a fake sad voice. "All I ever wanted to do was help you. To be your truest friend."

''Continue on that path and I'll program my droid's poem repertoire in anything digital you'll ever own''

She raises a finger, a sign of realisation

''No...its so horrible it might actually be on your level''

"Poetry?" He says, dodging and twisting. She had improved, but so had he, defensively. He could now sense what she was going to do before she did it.

"L is for 'laughter' which is part of manslaughter.
O is for 'optimism' that you have a pretty daughter.
V is for 'value' of you as long as you're a useful a tool
E is for 'eternity,' how long you'll rest if you take me for a fool"

Throughout the entire thing he does small spins and dodges, moving into Moyr's blind spots without actually striking.

''The droid is better...at least he has timing''

Her eyes are still focused on the screen, taking only a pause to stretch

"Is he better at being worse or worse at being better?" he replies, being pressed by a renewed assault.

Slowly he starts working the sparring pair nearer to Baesal. "Hey, I just wanted to be upfront and honest with you. I'm controlling the movement of this match so that I can peek at your datapad. You could at least give me a peak for how hard I'm working here. Moyr's making it difficult."

Ensign Veers shrugs and says, “Just doing my job, my lord.”

She laughs in a playful way and adds, “You don’t like the fact that I don’t really care how powerful you think you are. You’re scrubbing guts and I am not.”

She glanced at the ensign

''She seems to be making light of the sith''

"She looks terribly bored and busy. If she makes light of our training let her remain bored out of her mind. Then after that maybe I'll pick a fight," he says with a grunt as he does a backward roll, just barely dodging a surprise kick that might have knocked the wind out of him. The fight inches closer. "I'm almost there... peeping tom incoming."

Baesal frowns and closes the screen

''I'm done for now''

And she got up

"Killjoy," he says with a chuckle. "Keep your secrets and hidey things. Besides I already saw what was on your screen," he says with a vicious smile. "It was pictures of me. You know you could have just told me." He continues his sparring with Moyr focusing a bit more on it, but still making small talk. "The secret project: Zeno the heartthrob art collage."

Sylvain watched the exchange quietly and smiled. The three of them seemed to have a decent rapport. He was the outsider here, but didn't feel too out of place.

Part of Kristal was simply lost to the act, part of her was keeping tabs on the exchange between Layne and Veers and part of her was keeping a passive eye on Sylvain as she saw to the wall. Busy now she couldn't talk to him, didn't want him to have to be over here either. But she saw him from across the way.

Kristal's work was diligent, getting it done faster than some might expect from someone born to a noble line. A Serasai was a soldier first though, and she got the job set before her done without delay. Not that it was close to finished just yet.

While Veers and Layne were getting a bit heated, it didn't seem they needed her to cool them off. Not yet.

Moyr had been focusing on getting Zeno, and the fact that he was able to both strike a banter and not get struck by her unnerved her to no end. Her relentless aggression cost perspiration to coat her hairless body, the tapes now glistening with it.

"Why the hell they don't have double-bladed training sabers around here!"

She fumed, being deprived of her weapon of choice for the training encounter.

"And they're making you watch me do it. Real important job they've given you there, haven't they?"

Veers laughs and shrugs before saying, “Yes, I suppose that is the situation we are in. Neither of us comes out looking well in this situation. We are both meant for so much more than scrubbing guts and watching children carry out their punishment.”

"You got that right, at least."

Of course, Layne already had that in the bag, making it easy to endure something like this. She could even deal with being called a child.

"Don't think there's much opportunity for promotion though, in an ensign's job around here."

Veers nods and says, “True but maybe I have been practicing, and decided that being Ensign isn’t the path for me. Maybe I’ll be Sith, that seems deliciously more fun. I think I have the talents for it.”

She reaches out and a spare bucket floats upwards and then over to Layne. Veers says, “Your water is getting a little dirty.”

Now she *knew* Veers wasn't an ensign. No way did they let someone with the force be an ensign, right?

"You're not who you say you are."

Was she here to spy on the students? Some agent of another Lord or Darth? Why reveal it so publically?

She grabbed the bucket from the air.

Moyr noticed the bucket affair from a distance. She knew the blonde.

"Does any of you know that woman over there?"

"Nope," he says, lowering his training saber. "But it has just piqued my interest. Wanna say hello?"

"Hiding force powers from the inquisitors is a capital offense"

Moyr nodded.

"Baes has a point. Now that I look at her, I think I recall her as Ensign Veers. Are you going with us to see what's going on, Syl?"

“Like I said I have been practicing, silly me if I didn’t realize my potential until now,” she says with a sweet smile.

“Maybe I can join your club now?”

She does not seem all that concerned even as other students start to make their way over along with a curious Overseer, a male human with balding hair and a bit of weight around the middle. A severe looking man named Overseer Yufu.
