First things first, Layne had stashed her speeder again and dropped off her new acquisition. It wasn't time to wear that just yet.
Then she'd found herself with some time to kill; and a whole lot of stuff to think about. Might as well keep busy at the same time, and she wanted a little extra cash... so she decided to help out around the training grounds however was required. Most of it was moving stuff around, maybe show some of the younger aspirants how to do a proper lap around the yard. Simple stuff, really. Which is why in the end it turned out she wasn't really making any money at all. Besides, she'd made the mistake of not even asking before hand if there was money to be made. In the end though, someone took pity on her and offered a few credits for her trouble.
Oh well, the whole experience had given her some time to think anyway.
