The Dark Academy on Korriban

Death’s Shadow… you were too good for this world.

Shaisha’s lightsaber strikes into the underbelly near the rear legs and disembowels the creature causing it to crash onto her trapping her underneath the bulk.

OOC: Death’s Shadow is dead, Shaisha, Zeno, and Khalim each gain 3 Graduation points and can split the 2000 credit reward. Shaisha is also trapped under Death’s Shadow and covered in guts. Zeno gains 1 Reputation.

Zeno moves to cut pieces from the beast so as to free Shaisha from it's bulky mass, dragging her out when it's loose enough.

Khalim also hobbles over and cuts bits of the creature away to free the other sith.

"Damn was he a pain..."

"To be expected. He's been killing aspirants and professional soldiers for centuries from what Captain Harad said."

Khalim grins, "Not anymore. Perhaps the pack will scatter now, and we'll be able to loot the wreckage."

Shaisha gasps for air as she is free of the heavy beast crushing her down with its dead-weight.

There would be a long time until she felt fully clean again.

I'm gonna have to burn my clothes now.

She takes a moment to spit out more blood from her mouth. Whether her own or the beast's was hard to tell. "Fuck... by the Emperor, we did it!"

Tumbling to the ground from the beasts exposed gulet is a small dark purple gem, a sapith gem, a lightsaber crystal.

When Shaisha is free Zeno pulls a stimpack and presses it to his neck. "Be excited, but don't let your guard down. There may be other tuk'ata in the area and we're not in peak condition after that."

Shaisha likewise gets out a stimpack and injects it, heaving a heavy sigh of relief as adrenaline came down.

Of course, it was hard not to look at the gem that had been inside the belly of the beast, and she cast wary glances to the other two.

Zeno noticed the gem as well during all the cutting. "What do we have there?"

"Looks like a pretty valuable little thing," she whistles softly. And also instantly aware that this could probably get messy...

Khalim glimpses at the small purple gem after it's been pointed out. "It appears to be a gem of some sort. Likely imbued with the Force, considering it was inside the creature."

He continues to keep a wary eye on the ship, in case the rest of the tuk'ata manage to get out.

"Anyone know what it is? It's not standard..." He tries to think back to his studies.

OOC: Someone make lore with a boost?

"I'm not sure. Perhaps it's an artifact of the ancient sith. Certainly something I'd be interested in, if it is."

"Well... only one of it, from what I see, and three of us."

Placing her hands on her hips, still drenched in blood and guts, she looks at the two men.

"I am willing to give up my claim to it... for a good offer, of course," Shaisha's white grin was a stark contrast to the blood-red.

Khalim peers at the gem for a while trying to discern what it might be.

Eventually he shrugs. "It's a gem."

"Well, it' looks fancy and important," Zeno says with a smile. "So how about this: We're out here because of you, so you get that because it's the first find. But in return... well, I want to have 2 shoto eventually. I'll take the standard one you have that they handed out to everyone."

He then looks to Shaisha. "And Shaisha can take the entire 2000 credits from the bounty and gets first pick from inside the ship. Sound fair? That way we don't all try to kill each other over this. I really don't want to have to do that right now. I'm tired and I just want to go see my lady friend and have a good time."

Shaisha nods. "Likewise, I would not want to fight you two over this now. Both of you will become remarkable Sith when we graduate, and I won't rob the Empire of that." As she sizes up the two men, she was confident she could take out one of them, but two at once would be difficult.

"It sounds acceptable to me. Khalim?"

He nods then, "I am fine with giving up my share of the credits, and only have one lightsaber so have no need for the other crystal. Very well."

With that, he picks up the crystal and wipes it off, cleaning the various bits of tuk'ata gore off of it.

"Did you need help getting the head to your speeder, Zeno?"

"Would be appreciated. I'll possibly need help cleaning it again as well, Shaisha," he says. Then he smiles, "Wear something sexy."

With that, he gets to carving the head from the body, keeping it in tact.

Shaisha glances down at herself. "Don't know if I can get anymore sexy than this, you know..." after all, there was little point to stripping down to avoid getting blood on her clothes this time.

"Wanna take care of that later, or shall we check the wreck first?"

"Probably want to come back to that later. I'm tired," we can head back, get your credits and drop off the head and get some sleep. Tomorrow will suck." He moves to heft one side of the head and nods to the others once it's ready to load up.

Khalim moves to the other side, and helps Zeno carry it to his speeder.

"Indeed. Investigating the treasures of the wreck can wait. Give the rest of the tuk'ata time to disperse, as well."
