Almost as soon as Jun-Tsu had been relinquished from her irritatingly mundane task of ferreting out dissenters, she had requested a speeder which was become easier and easier for her to acquire. Though she had expected belligerence from the faculty of the academy, the had been suspiciously compliant.

She had then spent the next two hours trekking in the wastes. She could feel a storm coming and was intent to beat whatever rain and sand might come her way by riding it out inside the tomb. Though it was likely ill advised, she couldn't bring herself to have companions. Something about that place called to her and she needed to know why.

As the wind began to grow flensing, the sith witch took shelter in the tomb's alcove at its doors. She looked them over with a guarded eye. She held her veil over her nose and mouth as she tried to reach out with the force to sense whatever she could.

Something dark lingered in this place, it put a stain over everything but it was hard to tell with the darkness so pervasive and daybreak still hours away. She found the dark side was strong here; there was something inside that waited to be free.

After the encounter yesterday she took in a deep breath, as deep as she could given the rising storm. Collecting her speeder, she ventured forth, pressing open the doors and setting about getting inside and out of the elements. She kept her senses sharp and used all her might to push closed the heavy door, buffeted by the growing wind and sand.

With it closed, and the dark pressing in all around her, she had to rely on her less physical senses here. She brought the speeder close to the wall so that she could find it later and then steeled herself. The ghosts of the past were harsh masters, and possession was very real. But it was something her family knew about, perhaps that might save her in the end.

So, with a hand on the wall, she moved forward ever alert.

(This is kinda why I wanted Farsight. Can Sense mimic at least some of that capability since we can't pick it up? If not is it reasonable to assume given the darkness that I was able to get a light of some sort for exploring. One way or another the tomb was going to be mostly dark anyway.)

Jun-Tso can find, after tracing the wall that something is calling to her like a dark siren’s call. A long forgotten song, perhaps of the ancient Sith or something even older. She finds a crack on the wall that could be easily missed if not for the trembling through the force.

She could slip through with effort.

The sith witch looked at the gap and tried her best to sidle on through but each time she tried to readjust she found herself caught on some protruding rock or piece of temple structure. She winced as one jabbed at her side and forced her to retreat again. She looked at the gap again and setting down her light she reached behind her, beneath the veil and the folds of her robes to withdraw her Sith sword.

"Zhere," she said removing the blade which had consistently made her unbendable. Then, tugging at her robes, she brought the folded fabric more to the sides to reveal the body suit beneath. With sword in hand she picked up her light again and wondered if she would have to force the gap wider or whether she might be able to get through.

The narrow passage does not give much but she could probably just force her way through with some scrapes and cuts… a little blood for the dark side?

OOC: You can force your way through for 3 strain.

She would not be deterred. Sidling through the gap, she pointed her light through the thick stone wall as she heard her robes stretch and tear against the rough edges. A sharp sting grazed her cheek and another bit through the unpadded parts of her body suit scraping away skin to reveal the blood underneath.

Annoyances, nothing more. Even as the walls seemed hellbent on crushing her in their narrow span, she finally pushed her way along and came out the other side. She pointed the light down at her wounds but found them only minor.

It was then that she held it out to find where she had gone.

The interior is warm, the walls were slanted like the interior of a pyramid. The walls had pictographs to honor the ancient sith and another humanoid that she does not immediately recognize. They are silver or grey skinned and are pictured as larger than the sith, they have like oval heads with eye stalks similar to a hammerhead shark.

The sith look to be worshipping these people.

She honestly could not think of what such creatures could have been. She knew the primitive Sith worshiped other species as gods long ago. They did such when the Dark Je'daii of which she was descended from came to Dromund Kaas. But these beings...

She furrowed her brow and approached the wall with a tentative hand raised to touch its surface. She let it press over the pictographs studying their artistry while trying to remember what she knew of the ancient Sith race.

The only thing she knew was that these creatures were the ones that created the Star Forge, a tool used by Revan. They were force sensitive as well. The wall was firm and smooth, almost glass like.

Everything goes white and she is in a place of infinite white. She is alone in the infinite expanse of white.

No not alone, there is another presence and the darkness is strong with it.

Jun-Tsu found herself taking in a sharp, deep breath at the sensation and at the presence. The shift disoriented her and she stumbled slightly, at least she thought she did. Her eyes adjusted slowly to the sudden brightness, and it caused her senses to burn with the intensity of it. She tried not to seem a dullard and placing a hand to her forehead she closed her burning eyes and tried to steady herself like her great-grandmother had taught her.

She slowly opened her eyes again, her senses reaching out into the force to feel again at that powerful presence. "I-I," she was surprised by her own reticence. "I am Jun-Tsu Farro, disciple of zhe Dark Side, handmaiden to itz vill."

She spoke the words softly into the light.

Linguistics was not necessarily a strong suit of Jun-Tsu's education. Lore and ancient ways were what she specialized in. She found herself particularly irritated at the fact given her circumstances. Her family knew a great deal but it seemed their seclusion had failed to give her understanding of these alien ways.

.....it had failed her. She repeated in her mind as though coming to a startling revelation. No! She shook her head and pushed the thought away. She was vulnerable at the moment and couldn't afford distractions.

The shade takes a moment and then said, “Can you understand, sentient?”

She was not familiar with the language but seen references to it in ancient texts as the tongue of the ancient sith masters.

There was an obvious difference of culture between the two of them, but Jun-Tsu would not let the opportunity pass on account of some off language. She narrowed her eyes and held a tentative air. It was obvious this shade, provided it had not lied, was among the oldest of the Sith, perhaps even older than the Sith. These she seemed to remember were called the 'builders' but nothing beyond that.

"I zerve to zhe benefit of zhe Dark Side." She bowed.

"In my body no doubt. You speak of possession, no?" She was more than a little reticent, but silently she considered her options. Though these beings were ancient and mercurial, it was possible that they could hold to their word. She had been trained in the ways of force spirits and wondered if her mental training were enough to keep them in check once they inhabited her.

The shade takes on form, the spitting image of Jun-Tsu.
