Zeno comes up to the familiar place where they had fled the beast on his speeder. He leaves his sword and datapad behind after hopping off and readying his blaster.

Equipment for this thread: Heavy clothing, blaster rifle, 1 stun grenade, shoto, helmet, stimpack (3), utility belt (7/8 encumbrance)

3 wounds, 3 strain

Shaisha likewise left the heavy things and other objects she wouldn't immeditately need on the speeder. With a quiet grace, she swings off the vehicle and tries to get a bearing on her surroundings, right away looking for good vantage points or possible places for them to use for stealth.

(OOC: Currently carried: Rifle (4), Grenades x2 (2), Stimpack x2 (0), Comlink (0), Lightsaber (1), Concealing Robes. Clothing/Armor doesn't apply to encumberance when worn from what I gather...?)

[Shaisha spends 1 Destiny for the scene... hopefully in good favour for us. ]

Khalim also leaves the majority of the heavy items in his speeder and scans the area with his scanner goggles, first on night vision and afterwards on thermal.

The structure is cold but there are many heat signatures inside, many seem to be resting and others are moving about it is hard t get a sense of size at this distance but they seem to be regular tuk'ata size properly. By now howls fill the air.

He nods to the others and quietly says, "Seems they're here... And perhaps caught our scent or heard the speeders. Let's find high ground and see if they'll come out."

"High ground is a splendid idea," he says looking at their surroundings.

Post subject:  Re: [D6 MN] Seeking Death

There is a ridge they can use to get some high ground and a better survey of the terrain.

Post subject:  Re: [D6 MN] Seeking Death

"The ridge over there is probably our best bet. Should slow them down a bit if they try to climb to us, and allow us to pick a few off at least."

He starts heading in the direction of the ridge.

Post subject:  Re: [D6 MN] Seeking Death

Moving to the ridge, he finds a good position and gets prone, flipping over to thermal and looking for any tuk'ata that are out in the open.

Shaisha gives a quiet nod to the two men and begins to move, her footsteps quiet on the sands and rocks of Korriban as if she had known these hunting grounds for a long time.

OOC: What's the plan. BTW you have 3 frag grenades and 2 stun grenades.

OOC: I believe we had planned to thin the pack a bit outside before going in to hunt the big scary.

Even the odds a bit, persay. ;)

OOC: Indeed, looking to try and snipe a few. I think the hope is we can kill a bunch of tuk'ata first, hopefully without bringing daddy/mommy out of the lair. I'm voting for not fighting Death's Shadow in the open unless it's alone. If we have to deal with it and packs in the open I may jump on a speeder and attempt vehicular manslaughter.

OOC: Survival or Xenology at Average to get the tuk’ata to come and then at least 4 successes on Ranged Heavy or Ranged Light at average difficulty. Believe the Blaster Rifle is at Ranged Heavy.

Post subject:  Re: [D6 MN] Seeking Death

OOC: Yes, ranged heavy. Assist for boost dice on the survival which will probably be Shaisha? The same for Ranged heavy which will probably be me?

OOC: I can lead on Survival. I'm the best among us for it.

Post subject:  Re: [D6 MN] Seeking Death

OOC: I should clarify you can make three ranged attacks, get a setback for each time the same player shoots as they have to hurry.

Post subject:  Re: [D6 MN] Seeking Death

OOC: Are those attacks assistable? Is the Survival assistable?

OOC: Go with the PM, let's get the rolls going.

"Let's see if we can draw these suckers out," she says in a hushed tone. "Will make a nice shooting gallery."

Moving like a cat, she brings herself a bit closer to where Khalim had pointed out the location of the tuk'atas, and begins tossing about a few rocks to make sounds to draw them out into the open. The female Sith knows not to linger too long, and moves back to their vantage point when she has stirred their attention enough.

Khalim moves with the other sith, considerably less stealthy in his approach. Not that they were really intending stealth, but more of bait. He makes a fair bit of noise outside the wreckage to lure out the closest tuk'ata, and then withdraws back to their perch.

"Don't fire until you hear my first shot. Aim for the ones at the side you are on," he says moving to the center position. "That should drive them in."

He waits a few moments for them to draw towards the rocks, apparently looking for a scent from the rocks and starting to track it to their location.

And then boom. The one in the lead's head disappears in a moment. The barrage from the three sith would have been horrifying for anyone to be in the midst of. They turned that small plot of land into Hell on Korriban. It was vicious, ruthless and downright one-sided. Nothing could withstand their corralling kill box.

Using 3 of the advantage to heal strain?

Post subject:  Re: [D6 MN] Seeking Death

There is a blood curdling howl and a massive panel on the side of the derelict hulk crashes to the ground some fifteen meters as with a massive form landing beside it. All three instantly feel a great surge of darkside energy.

A small trio of tuk’ata follow Death’s Shadow as he charges but his incredible bulk and size surges across the crimson sands with unnatural speed.

OOC: Fear roll, Cool or Discipline, at Hard with 1 die upgraded to Challenge. Then roll Cool for initiative. Death’s Shadow is at Long range on his turn along with the tuk’ata. He has Adversary 2 and Ranged Defense 1/Melee Defense 2. Zeno can recover the strain.
