The past weeks had been tough, and had left no room for free-time. Finally, the trials gave them all some respite. And it was time to finally return to the site where they had faced down Death's Shadow.

Pulling her speeder to a slow halt with the others, Shaisha brings up her binoculars to get a read of the area, and any potential dangers.

Zeno pulls up next to her, with his tuk'ata helm on. He scans the area using his heat vision setting before switching back to normal. "Finally. That lightning torture sucked. Completely."

Khalim also pulls up with the other two, his scanner goggles on to pierce the darkness of the night.

"Yeah. I can't believe this is the first chance we've had to get back out here and explore the ship..."

"At least I can thank the sessions with water for rinsing me fully of all the gunk from that beast," she shudders, thinking of how long she had spent in refreshers before the trials begun, trying to get the stench of tuk'ata gut out of her hair.

Even after having her clothes washed several times, she still felt they were stained and dirty.

She lowers her macrobinoculars. "Let's see what we can find today then. Hopefully not it's mate. Or mother."

He grins at Shaisha, "She'd just flee at the sight of us."

He starts heading toward the entrance of the wreckage, first checking to see if it's still collapsed.

He turns on the thermal setting on his scanner goggles to check for any heat signatures within.

Zeno keeps an eye out to the rear, just in case sneaky tuk'ata decide to try and mess with them. His saber is in hand, ready to end any threats... or make new doorways if necessary.

The wreck is still as death and just as quiet. Also signs that the Imperial forces have been here as well.

"I hope the imperial soldiers didn't loot this place," he says with narrowed eyes behind his helm. "Let's find a way in."

He goes looking for such an entrance.

"Imperial soldiers aren't always the most thorough on this kind of thing," she says, hopefully.

((OOC: Flip 1 Destiny, so the odds are in our favor))

He narrows his eyes somewhat, "Indeed. Annoying to see their presence. Hopefully they were just wiping out the rest of the tuk'ata."

He moves toward the wreck and starts looking for a way in.

The wreck has definitely been scavenged by Imperials but not by Imperial protocol. The tuk’ata have been routed, a great deal of blaster fire scoring on the walls and a few decaying corpses. It also looks like off world scavengers may have had a go at it as well in the interim.

But it is a massive bulk, so… maybe they just need to search around.

OOC: what is the skill/trait for searching? And can we assist eachother?

He frowns as he sees what has been done while they were stuck in their studies.

"Damned. The weak can't deal with the threat, but sneak in and steal the treasure while the victors are otherwise occupied."

OOC: In this case probably Perception or Streetwise at Average with a setback for already being scavenged.

Perhaps the past days hard worn her out, as she didn't seem to have the usual intensity and eagerness she would usually display, as they began to explore the area for anything that might've been left behind and not claimed by looters in the meantime.

Damnit. Should've insisted on doing this right after taking down Death's Shadow.

The hulk looks pretty well picked over but there do seem to be a great many obstructions from fallen debris maybe clearing a path to the deeper bowels of the ship may yield something of value.

"Looks like soldiers and looters have cleared this area," she says, straightening herself from a squatting position and points to the obstructions from fallen debris. "I think we'll have more look if we look deeper."

"Good thing we have cutting implements," he says with a shrug, lighting his saber up. "Let's make a path."

"Life is so much easier with a lightsaber," she agrees with a light-hearted chuckle and draws Asha.

(OOC: I assume we can cut a part through the debris... like hacking our way through a jungle with a super-charge plasma-blade machete  )

It would not take much work to hack away at the debris and expose a hallway with ruptured bucking metallic walls. Debris covers the floor and the ceiling has swollen open with exposed wires and cabling.

Without a word, Zeno takes the lead, heading deeper into the ship, keeping his lightsaber at the ready and focusing his senses.

(OOC: committing to sense)

Following behind Zeno, thus letting Khalim get the job of watching their rear, Shaisha lowers her lightsaber.

While Zeno let the Force guide his senses, Shaisha relies on her natural instincts to keep her aware of anything of interest... or danger.

The ruined hallway has many doors off it to what look like small bedrooms, ruined and in varying states of disrepair. Creatures, small ones, scuttle into corners or out of sight as they make their way down this hall.

"Doesn't look like this area has been touched. Let's have a look around then," Zeno says.
