"That sure is convenient," she said.

Sinea shrugged. "The Force provides, on occasion." She spared a furtive glance at the stuff that Lanye bought, but didn't see much. "Buying anything interesting?"

"Not unless you find stimpacks interesting. Which they're not."

"Well, continued life is usually interesting, so by extension, so are stimpacks."

She tried to feel out her conversation partner.... but wow, this wasn't going to happen.

"So, I hear you have a nice saber... could I take a look at it? Without it entering my body."

"...why?"

One didn't need the force to tell the question made her suspicious.

Too many people had shown an interest in the lightsaber, and she wasn't about to just indulge a total stranger and cause even more suspicions about its origins to go floating about the academy.

"Curiosity. It is not often one can see such an interesting color." She stood patiently. "Of course, I understand the trepidation, if you don't want to..."

It was not just the color that was said to be unique; the sound and shape of the blade were special as well.

"When I turn it on, something tends to get killed shortly after."

"And should t hat be always the case?" Asked the Sith woman casually.

She sighed, pulled the saber from her side, and flipped it on.

It was immediately obvious that this was indeed no ordinary lightsaber. Its extended blade was nearly flat, shaped much more like an ancient sword than the lightsabers of today. The sound it made, the constant hum that all lightsabers seemed to make, was also noticeably higher pitched than normal. As for the color; it was a black void that appeared to suck all light in its surroundings towards it, leaving a white glow around its edges.
