Sylvain got off his speeder at the entrance to the Market early in the morning. He had to be somewhat quick about his purchases today since the tests were scheduled to start shortly.

Walking up to the weapon's vendor Sylvain greeted the man/woman with a warm smile as he looked about the wares.

The woman was a human and she said, “Greetings.” She was polite and friendly but not overly so, just enough to be helpful and attentive. She seemed a competent proprietor.

"Morning." He said with polished charm. "I'm looking for a blade, and perhaps a few stimpacks, have anything in stock?"

Sylvain worked a bit of his negotiating skills on the proprietor, but she seemed a tough cookie to break. Perhaps something he said would have been of use though.

A familiar Zabrak showed up! Noticing her.... friend? Xevine moved closer and waved at him. "Hello there."

Sylvain nodded and smiled charmingly at the woman that approached as he was working on finishing his deal.

"Morning Aspirant Distraacht. Nice to see you again."

"Same to you Aspirant Torsin. Stocking up on hidden reserves are we?" She asked with a half-smile.

"You could say that." He said with a smile in return, "Though not so secret now that you have discovered them."

He then briefly turns to look at her as the shopkeeper recedes back into tent behind the storefront for something important to their deal.

"What brings you out here in the morning? Exams are about to start."

Xevine smiled. "I decided to take a lok around to take my mind off the exams actually. I'm not a fan of studying last minute just in case... if you don't know everything you need by this time, it's not worth the effort." She glanced at the back, trying to see anything. "Otherwise I wanted to look around to see if there's anything useful."

She rounded on him, trying to catch his eye. "So, dear Aspirant... what are you up to?"

"Would you accept my answer if I said I was up to no good?" He asked with boyish charm.

Xevine rolled her eyes, almost unfazed by the handsome boy. "Well.... no. Unless you offer me something in return to accept the answer."

"What would you like?" He asked with a smile.

Xevine debated her answer a bit.... "I would truly like what it is that you are getting... but I could settle for something else. Like some of your time, and that of your companions."

He chuckled, "Well I am feeling generous today, so I'll give you both."

He looked back to the tent entrance for the shopkeeper that still hadn't emerged.

"I'm looking to pick up a weapon. Did a bit of exploring yesterday. Ran into a couple of Sith Hounds, and made it out fine, but would like to hem my bets for when it doesn't." He said.

"And how my time be of use to you today? Anything requests in mind?"

Xevine smirked, and tilted her head, the hilt of a sword visible among her hair.

"Some of us came prepared, dear Aspirant." Her face took on a more serious mode, but not by much. "I am looking into investigating some options to... join forces, shall we say. While our individual skills are being measured for graduation, there are ways we can help each other."

He smiled warmly, "Indeed. And so you've approached the resident influential facilitator? Had you heard of me from someone else, or is this something you assessed before that slave girl ruined our fun last night?"

Xevine shrugged. "You're part of a group that's already established by the time it got here, and you're approachable. At least I'd rather not make 3 enemies if any one of you decide that I am an enemy." She looked up at him, and smiled... which really wasn't that reassuring when you have spikes on your face. "Besides, you're good looking. Worst comes to worst, I have a nice view while I'm being rejected."

He chuckled, "You hit me right at my weak-spot Aspirant Distraacht. What noble could resist when someone plays on his vanity in such an effective way?" He winked to show he was being a bit facetious, but in a friendly way.

"You're an attractive woman yourself, but I'm not sure that will win Kristal or Shaisha's hearts as easily as it will mine. What is it you'd bring to a team?" He asked while tilting his head slightly in an appeasing manner.

"I have basic understanding of how criminal enterprises work, I can fight, I actually have a weapon" She flicked her head towards the weapon, and smirked, before she moved in to Sylavin, to stand only inches away from him. She practically growled, an animalistic sound deep with hatred. "And I get. What. I. Want." She bit at the air in front of her in a playful manner, dispelling her hostile stance in an instant. "Is that good?"

Sylvain leaned back as she drew a bit nearer. There were times that he certainly missed Kris, and this was probably one of those times.

Smiling off the intense nature of her self-promotion Sylvain chuckled, "I believe you do get what you want. You certainly do an excellent job of expressing that fierce desire to succeed. Quite scary for one so beautiful." He said with a wink.

Xevine smiled. "Well, you get what you want one way, I get it a different way." She moved back, alloing his fellow Aspirant his private space back.

"Whatever works. I can be scary in my own right. Though with beautiful women like yourself, I'd prefer to let them see my... more generous side in most circumstances." He said with a smile.

"We could probably use some more muscle when we're out looking for bigger game. Anything that would give us an edge, we're welcome to."

He smiled warmly, "Unfortunately I can't promise undying devotion or respect just yet. But I'd be happy to talk to them about you later."

"Oh, you mean when you don't shave?" She raised an eyebrow in good humor. "I can be muscle, as long as I get a good part of the loot. Bigger game would be...?"

He smiled and winked, "Something like that yeah..."

Then maintaining that smile, answered her question, "There are many rumors of powerful beasts, or dangerous tombs out in the deeper reaches of the wastes. Bringing in something of value would be sure to have quite the bounty.

The Zabrak nodded. "That I can see.... though someone would need to give me a ride on aspeeder. I'm not exactly... trusted with one yet. I'm guessing they presume I would kidnap you or something."

"We could probably arrange that. I can be quite convincing when I want to be." He said with a smile.

"I also enjoy getting what I want."

Sylvain was charming, but not overwhelmingly so... perhaps just enough to make her smile.
