Sinea looked around the port, just buying the necessary parts for the hilt. She was in a good mood, almost humming actually.

[OOC: 330 credits spent on hilt stuff]

Layne was also at the spaceport; first thing when the day broke. Her own purchases concerned stimpacks. And nothing but.

[83 credits worth of stimpacks]

When finished with her own shopping, Sinea noticed a fellow Aspirant. "Hello there." She approached slowly.

She turned toward her upon being addressed.

"What do you want?"

First impressions were key; and Layne always liked going for the worst impression she could possibly make, it seemed.

Elsewhere in the area, there was a happy Moyr. The morning harvest was good, worth at least 100 credits by her loose count. But among things salvaged there was a special find...

So it is true, she has the manners of a well trained Wookie. "I just wanted to get to know you. You have made waves among the Sith, aspirant Hoshin." Sinea smiled at Layne, managing to withhold any kind of sneering. "Just satisfying my own curiosity.... and perhaps trying to see if we could provide any kind of mutual benefit."

"Yeah? Well I have no idea who you are and why you could be of any benefit to me."

Sinea smiled at the human woman. "Sinea Okatesh. I am from House Okatesh, and I can discern the future." Best be blunt then.

She briefly entertained the idea of punching the girl, just to prove you can't really predict the future. But amusing though that might be, she opted for using her words instead.

"I met a fortune teller once. She was full of shit. Got any proof?"

Sinea opened her senses to the waves of the Force, gathering energy from the ether to part the veil and spoil the surprises of the Future.

Sinea sees a physical manifestation of pain and suffering and a terrible choice is upon her… but knows not what it means.

Well.... that was more ominous/mysterious that she'd like. Still... might be worth a try.

"Choose wisely when you mean the personification of pain." She shrugged her shoulders. "It will mean something to you later." Probably. "Don't trust me now. Trust me then."

She found a lone place outside the ring of spaceport buildings to try to figure out how to open it. First, she wanted to determine whether it had any trace of the Force on it.

The force does not cling to this object.

Assured of that, Moyr tried to figure out how to unseal the box by studying it closely.

OOC: Skullduggery or Computers check versus Hard difficulty with a setback. Spend a Destiny on the check to upgrade.

OOC. Scanning with hand scanner could provide a Boost?

"Yeah," she said. "That's real fucking helpful. Not to mention vague to the point of being useless."

After scanning and tinkering she still didn't know how to deal with it, but at least she got a bit more familiar with the structure of the item. Tucking it into her wares for a later attempt, she returned to her scavenging grounds.

OOC. Anything easier on next attempt because of advantages?

There is a code input for a password and given her criminal past she can tell this case is one commonly used by criminal street gangs to courier expensive goods or aurum for liquid cash. The case weighs about 15 kilograms by her estimate. There is a countdown running that will destroy all internal contents if forcibly opened, it subtle but she notices it.

OOC: She can try again in another time slot with a boost die.

Sinea shrugged. "The Force doesn't like to conform to one's idea of useful, most of the time. You live and learn that way."
