Xevine touched her sword for the umpteenth time.... she was nervous. I hope she shows up. I'm tired of waiting.

Thorne arrives but not alone, she pulls up in a speeder with two other students. Female humans who seemed to defer to her. Thorne speaks, “You must think I’m a bloody idiot like Layne, your obvious taunt was pretty transparent so either you wish for suicide or this is a valid cry for help.”

She rolls her shoulders and says, “So, still feeling tough?”

Xevine shrugged, and grabbed her sword. "My my, relying on others... how uncouth. I am tough. How about your little helpers?" She sneered at the other two.

OOC: Using Destiny to raise the stakes and upgrade difficulty, so difficulty is 2 Challenge die and a Difficulty die and a setback as they outnumber you.

Thorne raises a hand to her ally then and says to Xevine, “So why the risk?”

Xevine looked Thorne in the eye. "Think. Again." Drawing on the force, she sent a shiver down the spine of the other Zabrak, then assumed a defensive stance, and then used her intimidating posture to improve it.

OOC :Action: Terrify, Maneuver: Guarded stance, extra maneuver spent 2 advantages: Guarded Stance again. Defensive I from sword, +3 difficulty dice for melee attacks, Thorne is disoriented for 1 turn

Thorne’s eyes go wide with terror but she has come this far she ignites her saber and takes a moment to line up her attack she bring the lightsaber up high and strikes with a vicious blow that cuts through Xevin’s defenses with ease but leaves Thorneopen for a counterattack.

Her allies swing their ancient swords but the defenses of the zabrak aspirant hold.

Thorne growls at Xevine building her fury.

OOC: Thorn takes 2 strain to draw her Lightsaber and Aim. The aspirants give Thorne a boost die while Thorne's Thread gives Xevine a boost die. Xevine takes 13 wounds after soak.

Xevine panted as blood was pouring from her side. "Goddamn cheater and your stupid lightsaber. Did you sleep with a tu'thaka for it?" She knew she wasn't making any sense, but she was damn well going to leave her mark on Thorne, her opponent's saber falling from her hand.

OOC: 2 maneuver Aim, -2 strain, Thorne takes 7 damage before soak, 3 advantage used to disarm Thorne from lightsaber, 2 advantage used to give 2 setback die to Thorne, 1 wound left

The two aspirants work in tandem, one kicks Xevine and the other takes the opening to disarm her of the sword. Thorne hisses quietly, “Just remember this, Xevine… defeating you was… easy.”

Then the last thing Xevine recalls is a large boot stomping her out.

OOC: The aspirants Disarm Xevine, and give a Boost Die to the next ally. No damage done to Xevine but using Triumph to knock her out, this fight is over.
