With the impending trip to Yavin coming up, Shaisha felt she needed to take the last chance she had now to see if she could find some answers. Or something. If the Emperor had an interest in this, it had to be important.

Her speeder zoomed past the dig-site where they had been weeks prior. Never before had she been this far out into the wilderness of Korriban... or at least, not that she could remember.

Eventually she slowed her speeder down, as she tried to take in her surroundings, to see if this was somewhere she had been before.

The images are scattered but she recalls a path… she could follow it if she took the speeder. It is fragmented so it could be dangerous as there are gaps in the knowledge her mind feels like a jigsaw puzzle an old one with pieces forever lost.

Not one to shy away from danger, Shaisha turns her speeder in the direction that her memories seem to tell her to go.

She wasn't quite sure what it was she might find, but something told her she just had to know.

Shaisha feels peace and she isn’t sure if she is dreaming but before long she is riding through a thick lush rain forest filled with wild life. It was thick and the canopy over head blocked out much of the sunlight and the undergrowth glimmered with bioluminescence.

As she becomes aware of the new surroundings, she slows down her speeder until it stands still. For a while, she looks around in astonishement... before pinching herself to make sure she isn't dreaming.

It looked even more beautiful that the jungle landscapes of Dromund Kaas.

"... Is this the Forgotten?" she asks herself in a quiet voice and slips off the speeder to get a better look of the area.

There are sounds of people nearby. She can hear an ancient version of the sith language, but it is pretty alien to her.

The voices seems familiar, like hearing a language that was heard spoken in a dream once, but it wasn't something she was able to understand. Time might had separated the two speakers of the Sith language too much.

She sees sith, many dressed in primitive furs and simple clothing. They are fierce looking but not in an aggressive way, more that this was just the way of survival.

The people notice her and approach and start to crowd around her. They were sith but more primal looking with less human features than Shaisha possessed, these were the sith before the coming of the exiles… this was an age lost to time.

Sith who chose peace and harmony... she reminds herself of what Spindral had said, and she slowly raises her hands to show she holds no weapon in them. This was a historical discovery. One she didn't want to mess up.

"I mean no harm," she says in her own dialect of the Sith language... which was many many years ahead of their ancient version of the tongue.

They listen to her and part way and an older woman bades her to follow with her hands. She hobbles more than walks to a large tent like structure. Domesticated tuk’ata sat outside, inside a woman sat in a large chair made of bone and taut leather. A large fire pit sits in between her and Shaisha.

A large black sword sat across her laps.

She leans forward and says words… slowly they come into focus, “..enter the village of Hrum’shin, speak outsider.”

Shaisha places a hand over heart as she bows to the woman. Even if the woman was a leader of a tribe of primitives, she was still a leader who had probably earned her place through skill with that black sword.

"I am Shaisha. I've had... memories, of searching for the Forgotten. I thought I would find ruins, like there is plenty of on Korriban. Not forest and sith," she says, trying to choose her words with care so they would be easier to understand.

“How you know Korriban, are you a shaman of your people? Does she gift you with the visions?” the war leader says curiously.

She considers the question for a moment. A 'shaman' would probably be the closest comparison to a Force sensitive, she figured. Much like the witches of Korriz, like Jun-Tsu.

"A shaman of sorts," she nods, "Korriban sometimes give me visions. And sometimes guide me."

“You walk the spirit walk then,” she says leaning back.

“I am known as Vreyska, I speak for the spirits for my people. You are welcome here as long as you show courtesy and respect. Korriban sleeps well. My ancestors spoke of your coming, will you share our water?”

"Thank you, it would be an honor," another bow, then she looks up as she takes notice of the name.

"... Vreyska? How curious. My family carry the name of Vreysk."

“You are spirit walker, strong name. You come from lineage of spirit walkers?”

She dips a bowl into a waiting receptacle and fills it with water and offers it to Shaisha.

Shaisha accepts the receptacle.

"Yes. Both mother and father have long lines of shamans and spirit walkers. Vreysk is a name inherited from my mother."

She looks at the liquid, and to her own surprise she takes a mouthful of water.

It is clean water and cool. Vreyska nods as she speaks and says, “From where is your people? Have they taken to the new ways, or do they hold to the teachings of Korriban?”

"The house of Vreysk come from Ziost. It is where I was born too." The crisp, refreshing taste of the water warrants another sip. It was unusual to find such on Korriban from her experience in the wastes.

"... I think a lot must have changed from the old ways. Most do not think there are still people existing out here. But there are still some who try to honor the teachings of Korriban, our heritage."

She seems puzzled by that but then a horn sounds and then there is howling… shouts and then the sounds of physical violence and combat. Vreyska rises and grabs her blade, “The dark tribes come.”

She walks outside as large tuk’ata ridden by female warriors clash through the camp. The sith bear scars and tribal paints to emulate death and their leader is a warrior woman wielding a massive black metal axe.

But it is the feeling that strikes her, she has met this one before… but she feels she wore another face.

Shaisha follows after Vreyska, her hand falling to the hilt of her lightsaber as she readies herself for possible combat.

Then she sees their leader. What must be the leader of the 'dark tribe'. I know you...? Her thoughts flashes to the one who had entered Sylvain, back in Spindral's cave. ... No, that couldn't be possible? Could it?

Magara-sha smiles and says, “Vreyska, your tribe has yet to submit to my will. Now they will all suffer and I will make slaves of your daughters and your men will feed my tuk’ata. The old ways are dead. Korriban is a silent goddess that will watch you all die.”

Vreyska says, “Get on with it.”

The two duel, it is savage and brutal but in the end Magara-sha is the stronger and splits open Vreyska’s chest like a nut. She looks at Shaisha, “You… you are not one of these weaklings I can feel your anger… your rage.”

“You are a spirit walker.”

That arrogance... it had to be her, she was sure of it.

"And what if I am?" she freely lets her emotions of wrath flow from her, hands now holding the hilts of her unlit lightsabers.
