Moyr could see something odd as Baesal started to work: she had no physical tools. The techie extended her hands and small sparks jolted out and danced along the wires. The cables and the machinery began to move, following the rythm of her hands, and the ship seemed to start fixing itself.

"Aaaaand done. That should give us time to prove the computers and loot anything valuable. Didn't you say that Faln had a pile of junk somewhere else?"

Moyr nodded appreciatively.

"Faln's encampment is a walk from here. Do you think we can secure the freighter enough to keep it as our base of operations? Perhaps some security systems can be turned operational? Let's check what's left here."

With the Triumph you can modify the security system but keep in mind there is no real way to secure the site without actually posting guards. It's literally half a ship stuck in a wall with a campsite nearby.

Moyr shrugged.

"I haven't found anything new. Just more pre-fabricated materials."

Baesal raised an eyebrow

''What about the ship's weaponry? Did you check if anything remained?''

"I saw nothing functional on the outside. No turret. Maybe there is an armoury or torpedo loads somewhere around here. I don't know what stuff this kind of ship could be armed with. But this I hope the computer could tell you. Is it operational?"

''Yes, but I just could not access it and it logged me out for a little while.''

She was somewhat embarassed

''Rookie mistake...I must be getting tired''

"And we still have to check at the spaceport tonight."

Moyr looked around, trying to decide whether staying longer made sense.

''Let's secure this joint an move to Faln's junk pile...it might also serve as an alibi or decoy''

"There may be tuk'ata roaming there. How good are you in moving quietly?"

Baesal stopped and looked at Moyr

''Maybe one of us should scout while the other helps by spotting cover?''

By someone she meant Moyr, of course.

"All right. Turn off the lights, turn on the comm on my channel, and let's go."

Moyr wrapped herself tighter with her cloak, and soon led Baesal via a safe passage toward the encampment.

The encampment has a stench of death and decay but it is fading as there are only bones and not much of that where Faln’s dismembered corpse was. The rest of the camp is quiet, just the howling of wind.

"Seems predators appreciated my butcher's work."

Moyr mused quietly, darkly.

"The corpse of the slave should be down there."

Baesal looked down

''Well I think it might be a very long shot...we might have a better chance with the live ones.''

She scuttled over to the wreck

''Well...that is a mess''

She looked throught it

''I guess I can get some pieces for a light saber here...with what you brought me we might have a hundred worth of materials left for your blade''

"Well, I've been thorough here, but you can give it a shot."

She scrounged through and got a bundle

''Err, nope...it looks like you got everything''

She scratches her head

''That is disapointing. Do you have any spare credits?''

"About a hundred, minus a few."

''I...have around sixty''

She puts her hand on her hips resolutely

''Well, let's go to the city before sleep gets me.''

Moyr nodded and led them both back to the speeder.
