The Near Wastes cover about a hundred square kilometer area around the Academy. It is mostly just jagged red rocks and blasted crimson wastes with very little vegetation and small wild life with the occasional large predator. This area covers the Academy and the Academy Spaceport, and a smattering of military outposts manned by professional Imperial soldiers. |
