Zeno walks through the wastes of Korriban with a scowl on his face and his sword drawn. He scans the horizon for anything he can take his anger out on, exceedingly displeased at the situation. |

The wastes were hot and unforgiving and then the ground gave out beneath him. He tumbled down an incline of rocks and the light gave way to darkness and the sound of dripping water. His eyes adjusted and he could see he was in a cave, there was a pool a few meters away and clear water. Beyond the pool deeper into the cavern he could see rock formations or were they statues. OOC: Destiny used for this. |

As he climbs to his feet he scowls at the opening above him. I miss my ship. Damnable place is extremely upsetting. Zeno pulls the scanner goggles out of his utility belt and slips them on before picking his sword back up. After he gets his stuff ready he moves to the water, leans down to take some in the palm of his hand and sniffs it to make sure it isn't fowl. He takes a drink, as long as it doesn't smell off, before stepping into the pool and approaching the formations. |

The water is clean is and fresh. In the water he sees the reflection of an old man, he isn’t sure where he came from, was he there all along? He was pale skinned with dry, weathered skin… he wore a tattered heavy robe with the hood up, giving him a sinister cowl. The man coughed as he waved away the dust and said, “Is this how you treat my home?” |

"Your home dropped me here," Zeno says as he turns to the man and shoots him a glare. "If you had gotten one with a sturdier roof it wouldn't be broken and I wouldn't be here." He keeps his sword lowered at his side. "But seeing as coincidence of fate brought me here... I'm Aspirant Zeno. Who am I speaking with." |

“Folks just call me Spindral, that was probably my name or maybe Korriban gave me a new one. Maybe I was Naga Sadow once? Doubtful, I am a little short for such a large name. You folks keep making a mess of my home, I had everything just like I liked it and then you children just bumbled through it,” he said in a chiding tone. He looked up and sighed, “A Deathwright? Well now, this is delicious. I remember Teana Deathwright*, she was power.” “Get enough water?” OOC: *Ancestor died some two hundred years ago, skilled pilot and duelist. |

"That was a while ago Spindral. She died two centuries ago. If you remember her from her heyday then you probably are not Naga Sadow since he died before the Deathwright house was founded. And yes, I've had enough water." He glances to where the statues or stone formations were to get a better look at them. "So are you a spirit or have you kept yourself alive with sorcery?" he asks while continuing to look at the statues. |

“Korriban won’t let me die,” he replied with blackened teeth mimicking a smile. He followed his gaze and said, “Oh this place, it has been a decade since I have explored this part of wastes. The ghosts here have become unruly.” |

"So Korriban has claimed you..." Zeno looks back at Spindral. "How'd you end up here? Instructor, student, hunter?" |

“Maybe I was always here, or maybe Spindral was born Than on a long dead world a century ago? Maybe I too am just a shade?” he said looking at his reflection. “Does it matter now from whence I came, aspirant?” |

"Potentially, but not necessarily," Zeno replies as he reaches up to switch his goggles over to thermal imaging. "But if you don't know or care to share, it is what it is. What do you do here if you're stuck undying on Korriban? You just explore and learn from ruins?" |

“I listen to her, she guides me,” he replied calmly. |

"Interesting. Is that something one can learn to do? I imagine being able to hear the will of the birthplace of the Sith would be useful," Zeno says, intrigued. |

“Anyone can listen if they simply open their ears,” Spindral replied. |

"I would have imagined it would be a bit more difficult. Especially considering I don't really know what I'd be listening for," the sith blood replies. |

“Open yourself to the flows of the Force, it won’t be an easy experience but you might hear what I hear,” he said as he dipped a canteen into the water. “Or you can forget that explore this tomb.” “Or both?” Spindral laughed harshly and said, “The Dark Side has no set path.” |

"Perhaps if I hear her she'll tell me to explore it." Zeno looks at the man for a few seconds before sitting down and attempting to newt Korriban through the force, closing his eyes and attempting to drown out anything other than the dark side. |

OOC: Roll a Force die, and if you get a dark side pip it can be spent to hear the flow of Dark Side. You can use Light but it costs strain and causes conflict. |

As he focuses he starts to feel the force flowing into him as he attempts to hear the planet speak to him. Force: 2 Light Side, take strain and conflict, Spend destiny |

He is not sure if he hears the planet but he finds stillness, peace and serenity. In that moment he finds himself a light in the darkness, the eye of a storm of violence and blood. He opens his eyes and he sees two figures walking pass the statues. One says, “Lord Hazzan, give up this plan. This is madness.” The other he figures is Lord Hazzan said, “Apprentice, there is no limit to my power.” “It is killing you,” the apprentice said… Lord Hazzan is about to reply when he regains normal site of the dusty ruins. |

Lord Hazzan was here. Lord Zash mentioned him he thinks to himself as he stands and looks to Spindral. "Well, not exactly what I expected, but I saw someone here. Someone from the past. I believe I'll have a look around down here." |

“The will of the Force is strong on Korriban, follow where it leads,” Spindral replied. |

Zeno simply nods to the man before moving off in the direction of his vision to see what he can find. |

Passing between the two statues, they are still quite recognizable being protected by the elements, there is dust though but they look like hooded figures flanking the entrance and on the walls are faded fresco art of the ancient Sith. OOC: Perception roll at Average difficulty. |

Zeno looks around as he moves between the statues, but if there is anything there he misses it... Perception: 0 success, 1 threat |
