Post subject: | Re: [Day 4 - MA] Slave Revolt! |
Sylvain was surprised by the sudden turn of event and found himself immediately set upon by a large group of slaves. Being surrounded in such a manner was quite disconcerting for the young noble, but he reached out with the force to try and convince the slaves to take it easy. At first they listened to him as he assured them of the validity of their concerns, but when he suggested they go home, they blew him off and ran off to create havoc. --- Rolls: Fear Check=Failure Charm Path, using Force Power Influence to convert Dark side point into success= 1 success Coercion Path= 1 failure (OOC: 1 Graduation point. 1 Success. Sorry everyone, I was built to do well here, but Orokos said otherwise.) |

Zeno feels pause at seeing so many slaves, but wades into them regardless. It doesn't do much to set them back, at best taking a few swings that might have hit others. Their numbers and madness give them more than enough courage to press on past his threats. Cool: 0 success, 1 advantage Lightsaber + Boost: 0 success, 4 advantage Resilience + Boost: 0 success, 1 advantage Coercion: 1 failure, 1 advantage 3 wounds taken |

Post subject: | Re: [Day 4 - MA] Slave Revolt! |
Rumun had a bit of a bias towards the slaves. He admired that they were brave enought to pick up their weapons against the Sith. Afterall, only the brave can free themselves from the chains that bound them, right? That means that if they want to be free, they must be successful. Otherwise, their sacrifice will not be forgotten. They will help Rumun in advancing his own quest. Rumun did not feel fear when he saw the masses of slaves. He keep his usual demeanor, calmly observing the situation first, and then applying his best skills to solve this problem. He used his now powered capacity of influence with the force to make the slaves docile and end their violent reactions. Dominating their weak minds, so that they surrender and were captured and probably executed afterwards by the Sith. Then he tried to use his charms and presence to stop the masses from their violence, using rhetoric to try to trick them into surrender. It didn't work as the darkside overwhelmed their minds. Anyway, he successfully stopped several of these rebellious slaves. Surely someone will be grateful with Rumun's contribution. *************** [OOC - Rolls] Fear Check D4 - Slave Revolt; Fear Check Discipline/Willpower: 2eA+1eP+1eD+1eS 1 success, 1 advantage Path of Domination. Post subject: | Re: [Day 4 - MA] Slave Revolt! - Event |
Never had Kristal been injured before like that Jedi. Though it caused little trouble against the difficulties she went up against for the past few weeks, it seems that today it had messed with her nerve. Normally a bulwark Kristal had cracks, small ones that made her question herself at the pivotal moments she shouldn't be questioning herself. Today she might even be afraid... it wasn't the slaves, not exactly.. These men that tossed themselves upon the Sith acolytes, they were men. For the first time in a long time she feared herself, what she would become if she continued down this path. So many Sith were power hungry monsters.. there were even sights now she had witnessed that she never thought she'd see. If only these thoughts would harry her at a time she might better deal with them, not in combat. Kristal fell on the defensive. Creating the void in the abilities of the joined students in standing against them. As the battle raged on, those beside her were clearly outpacing her in actually clearing out this threat. Protecting those behind her was all that mattered. For a long time she stayed like this, harried by her thoughts. Stuck on the defensive. Until... "STOP!" she commanded with Imperial authority. It resonated out from where she had taken a strong position. One of the enemy, a slave, had still finished his swing. Landing a strike against her, but he was feeble and it did little against her. Around her a large group of slaves had ceased fighting. Holding out the blue energy blade she created a position of power. Something that confused a few based on it's color alignment. However it was the person holding it that truly possessed the moment. It was her command in which they found reason to pause. That was something she could use, the saber was merely a prop. "Lay down your arms." Kristal's words were spoken clear, and they listened, they all listened. Each and every one of the slaves in the area. Even one of her fellow applicants almost did before another near him smacked his shoulder and looked at him like the was the misguided fool he was. It wasn't admirable, but it was a completion of her task at least. Who would know better the mindset of slaves than Moyr, one of a nation of willing slaves that has killed and would kill to ever avoid enslavement. Upon receiving the news she mentally cheered them for standing up, but that ended when she discerned this to be the work of the Dark Side craze. She had no respect for golems of any kind, ever. She waded into the group without fear, soo foolhardy it left the slaves dumbfounded, chatting and patting, insinuating herself into their debates. With schadenfreude she convinced a lot that Stockholm syndrome is the best approach they can adopt. There were Twi'leks among them, and her conscience raged to convince her to save them, join them, help them in liberation... She pushed such thoughts aside, turning her back to the persuasion of the Light Side. In the end, she even tried to coerce the defiant, something she had not been used to doing, but her image of a good cop was too pervasive for the opposite to suddenly earn credibility. Nevertheless, her pacification method yielded astounding results. They did not see the massacre coming until the last moment. And even then let themselves be slaughtered like sheep. --- Cool: 5 successes, 1 threat http://orokos.com/roll/447894 Trickery - Deception: 5 successes, 1 advantage, 2 unused LS http://orokos.com/roll/447896 Domination - Coercion: 1 failure, 2 unused LS http://orokos.com/roll/447897 --- 1 Graduation Point +10 successes to the pool |

It either her or them. That's all there was to it. No sympathy among slaves; you did what you had to in order to survive. She understood and respected their will to free themselves through violence, but that would not stand in her way. So she placed herself in front of a large group of them, not the slightest show of fear on her features as she dared them to come closer. "Stand the fuck down," she growled, staring a good chunk of them down and thinning out the herd somewhat, if nowhere near enough. "Hey," one of them called out, "you're the one they say was a slave! Fuck you! Traitor! Get her! We can take her!" The rabblerouser's words angered those that hadn't been cowed by fear, and before she could react they threw themselves at her like a swarm of angry locust. She was traitor to their kind, a slave turned opressor. They were going to make her pay for it with blood and death. There were too many of them for her to kill. A frantic stormy sea of bodies washing up against her. It was only her reflexes and natural toughness that enabled her to escape unscathed from the swarm that had threathened to swallow her whole... ...yet their efforts would ultimately be for nought. Post subject: | Re: [Day 4 - MA] Slave Revolt! - Event |
Jun-Tsu looked at the teaming masses with a disgusted dispassion. Hoards maddened by the Dark Side. Weak willed. Why they would choose to use slaves in an operation such as this, where they could be influenced by the Dark Side was beyond her. Indeed, no small part of her felt that the Sith lords deserved this punishment for their arrogance. The Dark Side was unhappy and would let its displeasure be known. So, she stepped forward with her fellow acolytes, her sith sword in hand. In spite of her threatening demeanor and the general brandishing of a deadly weapon the maddened creatures surged without mindfulness. And as they crashed into the gathered students, Jun-Tsu could only muster a half-hearted attempt. She danced away from attempts to do her harm, but did little more than put up a token effort. Go! Go vessels of the Umbră-Ușoară! Have your vengeance! Nunki dreaded this excursion. She wanted nothing to do with these slaves, truthfully. However, this has given her a chance to work her magic on subjects from whom she had no idea how they'd react. She lead off on a strong foot, threatening them with death should they not comply and stand down. And although some had believed her, others saw her figure and asked how a "tiny woman" would be able to put down an entire slave revolt. Unfortunately, what boiled down to "My big strong friends over there will do it." wasn't an acceptable answer to them. ----------------------------------------------------------- D4 MA Slave Revolt! Overseer Thaine, or Rona as she now insisted, had informed him of the day's activity in advance. So, much to everyone's surprise, he turned up to quell the rebellion in full Sith armour. It was quite an imposing appearance, his red skin contrasting strongly with the black of the battle armour. As he walked towards the slaves he feared no reprisal, pushing any fear away and embracing rage instead. The slaves that could be persuaded simply put down their weapons and surrendered. Those that would not were mercilessly cut down by his double-bladed lightsaber. It was an efficient display, and they could not touch him in all his glory. Returning to the Overseer to describe his victory it occurred to Jo'ren that he should really get himself one of those shwankie capes. ------------- Day 4. Slave Revolt. Fear check. Grenda chortled to herself. A slave revolt? How exciting, and what an opportunity. Slinking off in to the masses, she appeared to be joining the slaves in their actions but all the while she was whispering poison on their ears. She separated off a good sized bunch from the mob and led them off to a side. She promised them weapons and an end to their suffering. She led them in to a dead end. "And here is your promised weapon that will end your suffering" She opened up with her carbine on full auto, mowing down the slaves she had deceived. "No one defies the Sith and lives . . .
