A storm was coming and Kristal wasn't about to get trapped out in the wastes because of some difficulties with the weather. Now was the time to do it. Heading out to the near wastes was all she had time for to search for the Old Man again. There were some answers she sought and he had aided them with it once before. Of course, that wasn't necessarily what she would find. [Destiny Point if it's required for something interesting/ Spindral, whom is also very interesting] |

In the distance she can see clouds, the dark storm clouds of the impending sandstorm on the horizon. Framed against that is the rugged landscape and not far is the cave where she and her friends found shelter during the last sandstorm. |

Kristal would have to hope, and be quick.. with that sandstorm bearing down mostly she had to be quick. This was Korriban, and it didn't hurt to be prepared. Moving forward she kept herself ready for anything. Following familiar footsteps until she stepped into the cave once again. |

The cave was empty, just the sounds of the desert and the sounds of Korriban. She hears someone approaching from whence she came another traveler in the wastes seeking shelter, or a predator? |

Regardless of whom, it could never hurt to have a lightsaber to hand. Inactive, for now. Placing herself at the most natural point she turned to face whatever, whoever it might be coming in behind her. Not one for hiding in the shadows. |

Kristal dugs quickly as three blaster bolts fly into the chamber and then she hears moving quickly to get cover in the chamber. She got sight of them briefly a flutter of a cloak. A male voice rings out from behind the pillar, “I missed. How quaint, Sith reflexes… I shall have to account for that.” |

"Hunting Sith are we?" Kristal calls out with a rather smug tone to whomever it was. It occurred to her that it wasn't likely the case, that they were out here hunting Sith, a Sith perhaps but certainly not so vaguely. Probing mostly for information as she took a moment to hone her senses. Reaching out with the force from behind her own piece of cover to see just how many she was dealing with. Calm and collected, his surface thoughts are focused on the task at hand also it is filled with random numbers. “Oh I apologize, my lord. I often talk to myself, my work has me working alone for long periods of time. You have my apologies,” the man says.

Too calm, too collected for this type of work. Though she didn't know the true extent of that quite yet, it wasn't a good sign. Still, nothing like a bit of good banter between warriors. Even if they are of a different breed. "Accepted. I do not suppose you would care to enlighten me what has brought you to fair Korriban this morning?" |

“I have been on planet for some weeks now, the weather is dreadful. The food is awful. You are a lovely dancer though,” he replies calmly. “Was that Torsin’s boy, by the by.” |

"Music was something special last night," she called back. Quite the answer, so he was here for her. Well, this was an interesting way of making a statement. Will have to check for a return address later. "Surely you already know that answer. If you are the professional you seem to be that is." [Commit Force Die to Sense just in case] |

“You got me, my lord,” he says calmly. She hears an object roll towards her… OOC: Resilience roll of Hard, using a Destiny here. |

“Well that is surprising. I was certain that would paralyze you. You are making this rather difficult,” he replies with a sigh. He seems to have moved during the flash. “No need for this to be personal, now. My respect for you is high. If not I would have put a bolt in you from a kilometer away and been done with it. Standard protocol for high risk targets.” |

"I suppose I have to thank you then," she said from her barely, slightly new position about the rock. "And I see no better way to do that than give you the fight you came all this way for. I would hate to have to kill you, but clearly it is either you or me. Anything more you wish to say before we begin?" A question asked to give her a moment to turn off of her back. Ready to move in a single moment, giving him only enough time to speak before she acted. |

"You're buying," she said with amusement just before she came out from around the rock. Lightsaber to her hand and igniting as she did. |

Cipher 3 is as cool as a Corellian Cucumber. OOC: Order is Cipher 3, Kristal. They start at Short range. Cipher 3 - Cool: 3eP 3 successes, 3 advantage |

Cipher 3 moves out from behind the pillar and rushes forward with a vibro-sword in one hand and an energy knife in the other. His long black cloak fluttering with his movements as he winks at his prey; he was focused on the task at hand. He feints and then slashes with the sword and stabs with knife in two swift movements, precision over savagery with no wasted effort. OOC: 5 damage before soak for the sword and 5 damage for the energy knife which has Breach 1. Advantage to generate a second attack. They are now engaged and Cipher 3 has Adversary 2, using a Destiny to upgrade Kristal's next check. Cipher 3 - Melee + Destiny: 3eP+1eC+1eD 1 success, 2 advantage |

With Cipher 3 coming straight at her Kristal had time to prepare herself, though her defense faltered a bit and she suffered a nick from his knife she was plenty ready for a counter attack. Striking across she landed a hit across his arm with her blue blade. Forcing Cipher 3 to drop the knife he was holding in that hand. "Quite the dancer yourself," she teased. Ignoring the pain of the cut she didn't feel. Incidental: Speak Manuever: Aim Action: Attack Day 8 | Madness and Sand | Attack! Lightsaber, Aim: 2eP+2eA+1eB+1eC+1eD 1 success, 3 advantage [7 Damage from Saber, upgraded Crystal, 1 from Success, 8 Damage with Breach 1] [Advantage used to Drop Ciphers Knife] |

The slash is devastating and the countenance of Cipher 3 flickers and what is left is a sleek looking droid with a large gash through it. The droid speaks in the same voice, “I apologize for the deception but it was necessary. Goodbye, Kristal.” Then it explodes. OOC: Resilience or Athletics at daunting, using a Destiny die to upgrade. Boost die due to Sense. |
