The Dark Academy on Korriban

"I knew it could be a holocron, but... Light Side? May it be that this has been what Zash pursued, a Jedi artifact?"

She looked at Sylvan.

Baesal was hesitant but relented and handed the holocron to Syl

"Such artifacts are rare here on Korriban. But the Republic held this planet ever since the Great War. I found one myself earlier... though I assume if Zash is after this one it most likely is of greater importance than mine." He said.

"I will try to activate it. As with all such things, the force output could be quite potent. I would suggest preparing yourselves the best you can."

"The freighter?"

Moyr found fault in doing it under an open sky.

"Zeno, look at it. Is it any similar to the one Zash already has?

"It is not. That one flowed with the dark side. Intensely."

"I'm familiar as well. Why not see if we can activate it together so we can all communicate with it?" he suggests.

"The Light has great resistance to the Dark. It most likely cannot be forced open... it must be enticed." He replied.

"I think that with our combined efforts we might be able to entice it," Zeno says with a shrug.

"I think it's worth a try."

Seeing a nearby cave Sylvain motioned to it.

"Shall we give it a try then? Preferably out of open sight."

"There's a better place a short ride from here. We'll try it there."

If they consented, Moyr would lead them to the freighter on the hill.

Baesal nods in agreement

Zeno doesn't make any indications other then hopping on his speeder.

Sylvain tucks away the holocron and jumps onto a speeder as well.

Once they arrive he follows Moyr into their new destination.

"Baes, let there be light"

Moyr joked as they enter the wreck after a short climb by butt-discovered path.

When the lights came on Sylvain pulled out the Holocron.

"Alright... shall we try it your way first?" He asked, there was quite possibly a tone of disbelief in his voice. It was apparent he thought it wouldn't work.

Zeno shrugged. "May not work but we won't know until we try," he replies.

''If Syl already opened one...should we let him try?''

Moyr nodded.

"Whatever works."

"It's not t really all that hard. I've opened them too. I imagine the worst part of this one is the discomfort of touching the light," he says with a shrug.

"If it will serve as an instructive example I am more than willing to try what will inevitably fail." He replied.

''The last time the holocron was damaged so we all channeled togehter''

She scratches her chin

''That might not be required now and we need to channel the light''

"Then go ahead and open it up Syl," Zeno says. He was interested in experimenting but they all seemed more interested in just poking it. Whatever.

Nodding with everyone's agreement, Slyvain closed his eyes and drew upon the force to open the Holocron. Feelings of peace and cooperation flowed through him as he sought to access the locks which kept the content contained.

OOC: Normally but Sylvain has gotten used to this, just take 3 Conflict no strain.

Sylvain smiled slightly as he felt the locks open up. Opening his eyes he watched as the Holocron began to start itself up.

The Holocron blossoms into blinding light and then a figure forms, a sith with a peaceful countenance. Firm but serene. His robes are dark and he pulls back his hood and says, “I am Master Hazzan, once known as Lord Hazzan. These are my words as I have recorded them. Greetings, if you hold this holocron than I hope you too are seekers of the true path. The path towards oneness and peace and heed the mistakes I took to reach this understanding.”
