Reputation in this game is a way of keeping track of how well known and respected a student is by their peers and the staff. This can be adjusted by events and actions in play. Initial reputation is affected by a character's background. High and low reputation have bonuses and penalties and can affect how certain NPCs relate to them.

Reputation Level 9: You are the future of the Sith, perhaps you are favored by the Emperor. Rolls during School events give you 2 boost dice and upgrade 1 ability die as you are expected to succeed and given every chance to do so. Due to such greatness a Triumph success is considered a normal victory if the student succeeds at the event, you were always expected to do well.

Reputation Level 8: You are the next Tulak Hord, you are expected to do great things for the Sith. Rolls during School events give you a boost die and upgrade 1 ability die as you are expected to succeed and given every chance to do so. Due to such greatness a Triumph success is considered a normal victory if the student succeeds at the event, you were always expected to do well.

Reputation Level 7: You have made a good name for yourself, warranted or not you have earned the respect of the staff and faculty. Rolls during School events give you 2 boost dice as you are helped at every turn.

Reputation Level 6: You have somehow improved your reputation with the faculty and staff. You are seen as a possible student of worth or at least a student with some potential. Rolls during school events give you a boost die due to less scrutiny and an expectation that you will do succeed.

Reputation Level 5: This is the standard level for any student, no adjustments to skill rolls. The student does not really stand out in anyway to other students are faculty. Just another face in the proverbial crowd.

Reputation Level 4:
You have somehow soured your reputation with the faculty and staff. You are seen as a possible trouble maker or at least a troublesome student. Rolls during school events give you a setback dice due to increased scrutiny and an expectation that you will do poorly.

Reputation Level 3: You have made a poor name for yourself, warranted or not you have earned the ire of the staff and faculty. Rolls during School events give you 2 setback dice as you are challenged at every turn.

Reputation Level 2: No one is quite sure why you are here, but success is not in the cards for you. Rolls during School events give you a setback die and upgrade 1 difficulty die as you are expected to fail and given every chance to do so. Due to such overwhelming odds a normal success is considered a Triumph victory if the student succeeds at the event.

Reputation Level 1:
You are literally the worst and if you died there would be a party somewhere. Rolls during School events give you 2 setback dice and upgrade 1 difficulty die as you are expected to fail and given every chance to do so. Due to such overwhelming odds a normal success is considered a Triumph victory if the student succeeds at the event.
