Combat Tips

Use Destiny, in combat threads the cap is lifted as I will be using Destiny aggressively, either for abilities or to raise the stakes!

Minions come in groups and get less effective usually the more you kill. Critical Injuries kill/remove a minion no matter the damage done.

If you need to me reroll due to Destiny use, PM me and I can adjust it. Best to look at Initiative order and just note in your post if you want me to upgrade a roll and when for an NPC.

If I list an enemy and a number in parenthesis like Soldier (3) they are minions.

Only Nemesis level enemies have strain, all other enemies only have wounds which means strain against them does wounds.

Use the abilities of your weapons, some weapons have things like Linked or Sunder, it takes a certain number of advantage to activate this on a hit. The trait should list how much advantage it takes.

Critical is activated by Triumph or advantage assuming you have enough.

If you want to be good at combat especially lightsaber combat, get defensive talents. They will save your life.

Remember you do not die at 0 wounds, you are knocked out and suffer Critical Injuries for damage done.

Critical injuries stack no matter how long you go between Critical Injuries and each additional critical injury increases the critical roll by +10 so if you have 2 already and suffer a third the roll is at +30.

Death usually comes through critical injuries.

Strain is not just another health pool, it's a resource that powers most of your talents and you can spend Advantage to regain strain in combat.

I will leave this open if any others have tips to add.
