On the plus side I discovered I have more chara slots than I thought! Can have all 8 of my old characters back, or is it worth trying this Light/Dark thingy?
You can easily get the two first Levels of DvL done (at least it was for me). You'll get boxes with cool drops, mostly rare and semi-rare loot, boosts, crystals and such. However, it will probably end at the end of October or in November (I haven't caught the announcement yet for when it ends), so chances are low to complete it all. First level is to get your first Dark vs Light character to level 25. Easy-peasy. Next level is to get a character to level 50 and do 3 specific Flashpoints. Third, complete the Shadow of Revan-storyline, the first 9 chapters of Knights of the Fallen Empire, and buy a Stronghold with your DvL character. And after that, it's where it's starting to get tiresome; complete all of Knights of the Fallen Empire, complete all Flashpoints on Tactical or Solo, reach Valor Rank 5, and recruit new members for your Alliance in Knights of the Fallen Empire.
So if you want to grab some shinies, go for it and have a good time. Again, level 1 and 2 aren't that hard to do. But the whole thing? You're probably not going to be able to complete it in time.
The Legendary Level have pretty steep achievements to reach (levelled ALL classes created during DvL to 50, ranked all Crafting skills to 550 with DvL characters, done all Flashpoints in Tactical and Hard Mode, play PvP matches, 5 Starfighter matches, all the Operations, 3 Bounty Hunter contracts, infected 5 players with the Rakhgoul virus, destroyed 50 Gree droids, several World Bosses, hidden Datacrons, 50 kills with HK-51 as your companion which requires you to do the quest to unlock HK-51, buy a special Datacron for 1million credits at the Alliance Base in Knights of the Fallen Empire... a few more things too, I think).
