So, for now is the plan that next game new characters will have 65 more experience than we did, but miss out on the 15 XP from the end of game bonus?

Just out of interest what is the dice pool used for ranged attacks with the Move power? Am I right in thinking that those sorts of things fall under Discipline? Discipline gets mentioned in a few places as being used for force power checks, but nothing is specified in the Move description other than making 'a Force power check and rolling a ranged attack as part of the pool'.

So I guess it could be ranged light or heavy, but those seem more to do with pistols, grenades, rifle, etc.

Discipline with the difficulty equal to the size of the object's silhouette to a minimum of 1. So a silhouette 3 object is a Discipline roll versus hard difficulty plus any defensive modifiers the target has. You still need the range upgrade to hit a target at long range and all that.

Discipline is the go to skill for Force power combat, keep in mind you need enough force points to make the roll too. So moving a Silhouette 3 object to Medium range is 3 force points, 1 to activate, 1 to increase silhouette, 1 to increase range.

In general Silhouette 0 is things that can be carried by humanoids easily like a table or small rocks. Silhouette 1 is humanoid sized like humans... and so on see link: http://blog.cobaltkobold.com/2014/08/st ... guide.html

1. Can you still buy Talents in your previous Specialization?
2. Do you get access to the skills of the new Specialization at the lowered cost?

You can buy talents from all specializations you purchase, and you get the skills at the lower price for your career and all specializations.
