She looked over the group, and the sinking feeling emerged this was going to be that group of 'popular kids everyone hated back in school.' And by everyone she meant just her. Or would have, if she'd gone to school. Her eyes lingered on Shaisha, even before she spoke.

"I figure I can find a way to borrow a training saber at least, but something better would be ideal.". He thought about their various options. "Well, two means a larger share of anything we find. Maybe wait and see how they do today, but any of them seem like good choices for slightly different tasks."

Then the juicy stuff comes in, there is several mentioning’s of searching for Lord Hazzan’s holocron, for whatever reason that is why Zash came back to Korriban. Se belives it has a ritual called Soul Regeneration that can rejuvenate her. Why is not mentioned but this has been the focus of the last two years of study following Lord Hazzan’s path through the stars.

She also has several selfies and some communications from an Overseer Tremel who is hungry for love in all the wrong places. There is also data to several dig sites around the planet and notes on past apprentices and their worthwhile sacrifices.

There is also detailed information on holocron designs in the datapad. Pus an archive of music mostly soothing chill electronic music popular among the youth on Ziost.

Jo'ren Rath walked out into the dig site on his own because he's Jo'ren freaking Rath!

Delving into the depths of ancient Lore was easy for Jo'ren, because everything is easy for Jo'ren (it's a widely believed fact). He's pretty dreamy too, they said so on the Imperial News Network. A flick through the tomes of ancient lore and he found a thingy of ultimate wassname.

It was the easiest thing in the world for Jo'ren Rath to find the super-duper amazing ancient artifact of doom, He just walked in a straight line until he found it. What was all the fuss about exactly? Archeology was easy. There it was: sticking up out of the ground. Clutched in a skeletal hand.

Returning with the relic he presented it to Lord Savas, who barely looked at. Jo'ren asked him if he wanted to take a proper look at it. Lord Savas did not. Jo'ren asked if this was about the collected works of Darth Charon, and the not reading thereof. Lord Savas shrugged. Jo'ren Rath shrugged and threw the artifact over his shoulder, and over the cliff, where a small explosion could be heard abut 30 seconds later. Lord Savas sighed and returned to dealing with other students.

Vengean listens and says, “This pleases me my apprentice. Proceed to the next phase.” The holo ends and Baras is left alone in his chambers on the edge of the system, the star of Horuset so distant it was just a red pinprick among the sea of stars.

Baras pours wine for himself and sighs as he considers how next to proceed.

The holo flares up and there is Raven Torsin in all her stately glory. She bows her head, “All has proceeded as you have planned, my Master.”

“Good,” he turns and adds, “The Wrath has handled the last bit of evidence for us, faster than I anticipated. I applaud your maneuvering to place the child in your care, it seems sentimentality has won out.”

“I did not enjoy influencing my husband to think I was ill, but it served the larger plan,” she says calmly.

“He did not share everything with you,” Baras says.

“He was a Torsin, as is our son. I admit to a small relief that he has decided to join you,” she says meeting his eyes.

“Moff Brell will ascend as planned, then we wait. Darth Vengean must be appeased and we are not yet ready to remove that obstacle.”

“What of the daughter,” Raven asks.

“She is immaterial. She can live.”

“My years of work and service give me pride, my Master,” she says with nod.

“The Empire is stronger for it, my apprentice. Return to your duties and know your son is in good hands,” he says with no mirth.

"I'm pretty good at handling myself in all sorts of situations," he says with a wink. "Any time you need deep and fast penetration you let me know. I'm a hell of a pilot and can get you past enemy lines."

Just one of many good scenes between these two, but I adore the dynamic that is the Jun-Tsu/Zeno ship.
