Usually these types of threads pop up near the end of a game; but I wanted to pre-empt that and thank our GM. Running a game like this by oneself, in a system most of the players are still learning (and thus frequently messing up in) is a hard job, and I think monsieur Dapper Dog has been doing an excellent job thus far.

I would also like to voice my appreciation for the personal storylines; a lot of the times a GM let's the epicness of character stories depend purely on the dice and the players themselves, but I feel like our GM is going out of his way here to make us feel like our characters are truly special. I never expected the stuff to happen to Layne that's happened thus far, and it's been nothing but awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the game unfold!

I offer my hat to Dapper Dog for running the show on his own. I know I would never do that, even if I used my vacation-time to be able to full-time GM.

I also support this motion with great strength!

It would also be great if players were to take it easier on the number of threads per day they get into that require the Dapperest Dog's attention. We all want story time, but maybe it's okay to just have those sorts of threads every other day rather than trying to push multiple event-type threads at once. If it's a quiet day, and no-one else is on then that's cool, and I'm not directing this at anyone specific I just don't want our tireless GM getting burned out :D

I am enamoured with responsiveness of our GM in generating collaborative stories with the players, and all the plot hooks, twists and puzzles that come with it. As a GM I do try to do the every same thing, and the great fun I am having through this experience is only vindicating this is the right way to go. Keep up the awesome work!

Dapper, I would risk diving into a Sarlacc pit to save you from it. You're great.

Not only is he running the show on his own, he's running it alone with more time slots than normal. And on top of that, he's been really responsive to just about everything. I haven't had this much fun in a pbp in a while.

Who's a good dog?

You are.
