The Dark Academy on Korriban

Just a few quick announcements, Day 10 will be the last day of structured play. Day 11 will be wrapping up and closing any dangling storylines, any not resolved now will probably move on to Nar Shaddaa. XP will be handed out on Day 11.

Day 11 you can pick your Masters as long as you have accrued more than 4 Graduation points, it can be someone named or unnamed up to you. If you have questions let me know, if you have less than 4 points then you die… no you can live but you are not Sith and are now on the run.

By Day 10 I will post something on how Graduation Points and how they impact after game and goals, this is an addendum to the top 3 highest graduation points. Any questions feel free to ask.

The Future

Day 11 is wrap-up no rolling unless there is something you absolutely must do and then get my approval. No Destiny use either. Characters will receive one goal to work on over the course of the next eight months.

This can be used to follow up on any loose ends in game or something new. Keep in mind if you already have a post game task, if you are being sent to Hoth and you want to explore the reaches of wild space, which probably won’t work.

Some examples of acceptable goals:

Search or repair a holocron or ancient device.

Distinguish one self in battle.

Perform with distinction for your Lord.

Succeed at a mission that strengthens the Empire.

Eliminate a rival or enemy of your Master or the Empire (This won’t be a major named NPC but someone significant.)

Build a powerbase.

Graduation Points

As stated before the top three students will have some kind of significant impact on the setting based on Graduation Points and then Reputation. The top student will get an additional boon on top of that.

If you have less than 4 graduation points then you are not Sith and probably killed you should spend your goal on escaping the Empire and you will be hunted.

4 to 8 graduation points means you are Sith but otherwise serve without much distinction outside your goal.

9 to 12 graduation points and you gain an additional goal that must be tied to your master, such as winning an important battle at their side or aiding that master significantly with their mission.

13 or more graduation points and you have the extra goal plus you are recognized by many within the Empire to be a future power and assemble a powerbase of allies for free, this will allow you to gain information, resources, or physical backup depending on the nature of your powerbase.

Masters

You can feel free to pick whoever you like just run it by me, it can be a nobody or it can be someone in the setting already introduced. No young Sith is without a master even if it is a distant one. Some have ties to masters already you don’t have to choose them but that could piss off a potentially powerful enemy to be so snubbed, so take that path at your own peril.

Please make a thread in your PF for your future master and goals and I will approve them.

What about those who escaped to the Republic?

Same just a Jedi and grad points will be used to determine goals.

With 13 graduation points, you get a total of 2 goals + the free powerbase, correct?

Yes.

Any deadline on the goals? I'm kind of torn.
