Shaisha lounged lazily on her stomach ontop of her bunk, reading over the latest news on the Holonet. Dressed in her fine tight-sitting clothing, her feet were bare and kicked up behind her. "Darth Marr... one who's supposedly looking for more apprentices..." she murmured. It would make him perhaps one of the highest ranking Sith lords looking for young Sith to add to their powerbases. |

Sylvain returned to the room quietly and heard his foster sister mumbling as she read. Smiling charmingly he interrupted her reading, "Daydreaming out loud again are we Shai?" |

"I don't daydream, Syl," she retorted with a smirk. "I speculate my future out loud." Shaisha let the datapad rest on the bed in front of her. "We'll be finishing our training now... and as is fitting, we should be selected by the most important Lords and Darths, don't you agree?" |

Benefit of having short hair was that when she did things like push-ups it barely managed to get in the way of her view. Kristal didn't take up much room when she did, remaining nearest her own bed as she quietly continued her exercise. Wearing a form fitting black top, jacket removed, and her heavy pants. Having been at the exercise for some time. Even with the revelation to her Marr might be looking for an apprentice she didn't stop. Thinking a bit as she continued, up and down. "Darths will fight over us," Kristal added with a light smirk, not breaking her concentration on her training. |

"See?" Shaisha grinned to her 'brother'. "Kris got the right idea of it. We are talented, handsome, intelligent, from good families and with standings... when our competition is some elevated street rat, or other refuse dug up from some Republic-world; well, a true Sith needs more than mere aptitude with the Force." |

Sylvain chuckled, "Of course." He then smiled warmly, "Nothing wrong with a bit of future 'speculation', I'm sure father would talk to Darth Marr if you'd like." He then added, "But do be careful not to underestimate the others... A wild nexu can be just as dangerous as one kept in an Imperial Colosseum." He then turned to Kristal, "You seem excited to get back to Korriban Kris." |

Kristal glanced to Shaisha with that addition, agreeing to the idea. Given that a nod wouldn't come off quite right as she continued the exercise. Certainly the lesser Sith had their uses, but they were simply that, lesser Sith. For someone like Darth Marr the apprentice would need something far more than just sensitivity to the Force. Concentration on her training again she responded to Sylvain, "Even the smell of Korriban is better than wasting my time on this ship. But no, not excited, merely making use of my time." |

"Of course. I forgot terms like 'excitement' and 'enjoyment' are not appropriate for K-R-S-T-L 1410632. That personality patch got lost somewhere in the download." He smiled warmly, "I forgot to tell you, that you looked radiant on Dromund Kaas at mother's party. Even if you didn't seem to be enjoying yourself." |

"A patch we'll take care of soon enough." The pureblood grinned eagerly. Picking up her datapad, Shaisha flicked away from the INN Holonet and over to a map of Korriban, or rather specifically, the rough map of the Valley of the Dark Lords. "Who knows what's still undiscovered around there..." there was a mischevious glimmer in her eye as she held it up for the others to see. "Since we're senior students now, I bet we'll find some time to explore Korriban a bit more than we have before." |

It wasn't much of a smile, she didn't do that often, but her lips curled up a little before she responded. Kristal glanced to Sylvain at the compliment, he knew her for long enough to know it was a positive gesture. Part of her enjoyed the words, much unlike parties, not that she would overtly show it most other times but old friends got exceptions to a lot of her rules. With one last push up Kristal was on her knees and looking to the datapad that Shaisha was showing them, rubbing the back of her neck as she shook her head looking between the two. Kristal smirked as she thought of herself as babysitting the two of them there, not that she thought they weren't capable on their own. "I know better than to attempt to dissuade you Shaisa." she said, which was the most she usually gave. Going along with Shaisha's plans always brought Kristal that bit of excitement she wanted to break up the day to day. They were always a welcome reprieve. The riskier the better. |

"Chances are we could probably impress some of our hopeful masters if we were to find something of interest. Imagine that... maybe a lost holocron, an ancient saber, or other relic," the girl mused out loud. "Who knows, we might even be tasked with trials of going to these places. I've heard that some masters test their potential apprentices with tasks that require them to reclaim something from the tombs... using our strengths together, we will have much higher probability of succeeding in such." |

Kristal pushed herself up off of the ground, turning on her heels and slipping backwards until she was sat on the bed that was now behind her. Resting her forearm over each knee she let her hands dangle. "Imagine, being tasked to retrieve a saber that you already hold. That must be something that would impress Darth Marr." Kristal pauses for a moment, pushing herself up a little with her forearms on her knees as she let herself slowly glide backward onto the bed, looking up. "Together we are unstoppable. Whatever task is set before us we will excel at, even if we set that task ourselves." |

Shaisha grinned. "Ah, some friendly competition in vying for Darth Marr's favor, Kris? I hope if it's true for him to choose new apprentices, we'll both be there together." "Speaking of which," she looked to her brother. "Does Syl have someone in mind yet?" |

Sylvain chuckled, "Father prefers Baras. Mother, Zash. But if you both want Marr so much, I might just want to steal him from the two of you and never let it down." He then shrugged and smiled, "Whatever opportunity I find to be the best route to take at the time; that's where I'll end up." |

"Lord Baras... that is a lofty goal. I hear he's quite the player in the field, according to the words of our instructors, as well as that of the Holonews." Shaisha looked thoughtful for a moment, and placed a hand to her chin. No... I'm not sure he would approve of someone who pulls strings compared to someone fighting on the frontlines. "I hope that we will have a chance to speak with the masters... impress them in person, rather than merely being a name selected off of a list. Besides, there are probably more than just the rumored ones who are looking for new apprentices; and the rumored ones might not even be looking at all. Words can be misleading, after all." |

Sylvain smiled and tilted his head, "That wouldn't be some passive-aggressive remark about my talents would it Shai?" His smile revealed that he was teasing her as he often did. |

"Given his reputation that would be the best for the Empire," Kristal responded, having absolute confidence in those words. "You cannot judge someones worth without standing before them," Kirstal commented on the previous, "If what we hear of Darth Marr is true, his presence in determining his apprentice is assured." |

"Why, Syl, I would never!" Shaisha gasped, dramatically pretending to be shocked at such an accussation. "I'm merely worried about little Syl getting into trouble so soon on his own." Following a brief laugh, she sobered up a little as she listened to Kristal. "If the Dark Council were to convene while we're there, then it seems likely," she nodded... realising it also meant the possibility of her father being there also increased. How many years has it been now? |

Sylvain nodded, "The council could convene sometime soon from what father is hearing.... There are too many occupancies." Then smiling he added, "Though it seems to me your last comment is somewhat disingenuous dear Shai. You least of all seem to not be all that worried about getting us in trouble." He smiled, "Perhaps I'll go mute when we find ourselves captured by the Tomb Guards to see if you can handle it on your own." |

"Pfft," she flipped some her hair away from her face. "I'm worried about getting you guys into trouble that we can't get out of. It's not like I've taken you guys into a rancor's cave yet, no? And that pack of Vine Cats wasn't that much trouble." |

"Mother didn't share your optimistic appraisal of that particular situation." He chuckled warmly. "Though telling the story now is definitely worth the holes in my cloak that had her ranting about inefficiency for several days." |

"You haven't done it yet," Kristal commented on the Rancor nest with a smirk. Kristal turned about on the bed so she was laying on it more properly as she looked to the space directly above her, thinking back on the incident with the Vine Cats. "Given your track record I am going to need to start bringing my grandfathers... my sword with us on our next adventure." Until now she hadn't citing each time that she didn't wish to get it bloodied. It was after all for generations used as merely a training tool. |

"Or... even better... a lightsaber," Shaisha grinned. "We'll soon have our own, after all. Either of our own make, or one reclaimed from some dusty old tomb." "A lightsaber or two would've done quick work of those vine cats, not even Syl's mother would've had time to complain then." Just the idea of finally attaining such a powerful weapon, that very symbol of someone who had completed their training and joined the ranks of Sith rather than merely being an acolye, it made her eyes sparkle with desire. "I wonder what mighty Sith Lords like Marka Ragnos, or Naga Sadow, felt when they held their first lightsaber..." |
