After his 'archeology' fiasco the duros walks around the digging site looking for someone in particular. Someone that is named Thaya. All that he knows is that she is a favorite of Darth Skotia. Rumun has a mision. Rumun has to observe. He has to kill her. Not that he wants to. He must. Rumun is realistic, he is not a fighter. So he must find another way so as to kill her. But first he needs information. He tries to pass unnoticed. |

The young woman sees Rumun and approaches a bit curious at the tall duros. She says, “Hey, you lost?” She seems friendly, tanned skin, short dark hair with soft features for a human with a slave’s brand on her cheek. |

'' No, not at all '' Rumun analized the woman. '' I was looking for someone to help me identify if this is a relic or a piece of junk. Probably it's just garbage. '' He shows to the woman the, already, identified piece of garbage he collected from the dig-site, adding a slight smile at the end. Slave or former slave? He asks to himself. '' Rumun Gol is my name '' He bows to the woman. |

“Pretty sure that is garbage.” “I should know, that’s all we found. Garbage and more garbage and ol’ Grampa Savas was pretty explicit how terrible we were and how bad we are at everything. My name is Thaya, we were about to make some soup that Hruk smuggled in.” Hruk was a male Zabrak, thin and on the short side, male with red skin. |

'' Pleasure to meet you lady Thaya '' He says. What a coincidence! What's happening!?, did the force aligned the celestial bodies and my luck is finally changing for good? He freaked out a bit, internally of course. *sighs* '' Hmmm yeah, I wasn't sure about this item but I hoped that it had some value... '' He adds, looking at the garbage. Rumun bows to male Zabrak when Thaya presented him. '' Forgive me lady Thaya if i'm rude but, by grampa Savas you mean Lord* Savas? '' He asked politely. **************** [OOC] Savas is a just a 'lord' or a Darth? |

“I mean yes Lord Savas,” she corrects herself. |

''Ah, don't worry about it. '' He smiles. '' From your earlier comment, I suppose that you did not find anything of value, right? Same as me?'' Some small talk. |

“Oh we found wonderful rocks and shards of glass… but nothing that Lord Savas was willing to accept as a worthwhile find. Oh well, being a Sith isn’t about digging up old junk anyway,” the woman says. |

Post subject: | Re: [D5 - ME] Observing |
'' Ha! Perhaps, but if you were to find an Holocron? That would be Sith worthwhile, I guess...'' This is strange...very strange Rumun thinks. '' For my part I still don't know what is worthwhile of a Sith. Or who is 'worthy' to become a Sith. I guess power, glory, and freedom or something like that, are the traits that define a Sith, but I have hear so many different interpretations of what is 'a Sith' that I cannot know for sure. I suppose the Emperor is the true model of a Sith, the true Sith, but there's nearly no information about him so as to create a good idea.'' He comments a bit more. |

“Pretty sure it comes down to serving the Empire, mastering the Force and being useful,” she says flatly as she hands the duros a bowl. “That is how I approach it.” |

Post subject: | Re: [D5 - ME] Observing |
'' Yeah, you are probably right. '' He nodds '' Oh, thanks.'' The Duros accepts the bowl ''Speaking of Siths, may I ask what are your dreams after you become one? What you plan to do?'' He asked politely. ''And what about you, Hruk? What are your objectives after becoming a Sith?'' He also asked the Zabrak. |

Hruk says in a deep voice, “No idea, figure go to the front line kill some Jedi filth.” She agrees and says, “I got some plans but nothing firm yet. We shall see, no reason to worry about things that are not yet realized.” |

'' Well I have heard that the battles at the front are in the Empire's favour. I suppose that the Jedi will soon retreat and cower themsemselves in fear. '' '' Well as for me, I also have somewhat of a dream, or an ambition of sorts. I think dedicating myself to advance in the knowledge of Sith lore and deeper applications of the Force. ''In broad terms of course , not just one side of the spectrum or the other. There's a saying: 'A complete and wise leader should embrace the larger view of the force'. '' He tries to explain his dreams and use all his charms, tone of voice and expressions to have a better impresion of those two. ********** [OOC - Rolls] Using Charm to get a better impresion. Rumun gets no real impression from them, they do nod along but Hruk seems more interested in eating than anything else. Thaya says, “Well what’s a larger view of the force?” |

Post subject: | Re: [D5 - ME] Observing |
'' I really don't completely understand the concept, but I think it's about learning all aspects of the force. Both light and the darkside. I have read some theories that say that there's no such thing as the 'darkside' or the 'lightside'. Only the force and the application that users give to it.'' '' For example the jedi apply the force in a weakened and diminished way. Making them weak in the short term. Sith on the other side, use the force in a way that corrupts their bodies, and in the long term weakening.'' '' But in some cases some Sith achieve total control of the force. The real Dark Lords of the Sith, like the Emperor, Marka Ragnos, Freedon Nadd, Exar Kun, Naga Sadow, etc. Those lords, I can assume, comprehended the true way of the force which made them so famous and powerful.'' '' I want something similar, but different at the same time.... It's difficult to explain, really...'' |

“I don’t think I will be that powerful,” she laughs. “You think you’ll have that kind of power?” |
Author: | Rumun Gol [ Wed Oct 26, 2016 2:40 am ] |
Post subject: | Re: [D5 - ME] Observing |
'' Ha! I don't know. Perhaps, or most likely no.'' He smiles. '' But you missinterpret my statement. I want something similar to that kind of power, but different. I desire 'something' different. Power is not my final objective. My objective is too comprehend the complete mistery that is the force'' '' But don't take me too seriously. This is probably a nonsensical dream'' Rumun says politely. |

Post subject: | Re: [D5 - ME] Observing |
'' Indeed, how will I?'' That question hit Rumun, like a slap on the face. He thinks. '' Fascinating question... I cannot say... perhaps there's no way to know...'' '' Perhaps only when you achieve the title of Dark Lord of the Sith. Only then, one could know...'' He crossed his arms in a thoughtfull way. |

“So you plan to be the next Emperor, good luck with that,” she says with a shake of her head. Hruk shrugs and adds, “Maybe you’ll never find it.” |

'' Probably, I concurr with you Hruk'' Rumun says. '' Anyway, it's a stupid dream. Just that'' With this conversation he totally forgot about the bowl of food. He began to eat, still meditating about Thaya's question. He also forgot why he was here in the first place. |
