The Dark Academy on Korriban

“Give me coordinates and we can be square,” he says after a pause.

"We'll meet for the trade at (X) coordinates at (X) time. Hope things have been going well for you. You got the rifle I sent back right?" he asks.

Khalim amusedly observes the conversation as they apparently get set up with all sorts of weaponry.

"I did thank you," he says.

"It will be done, my lord." The line goes out.

"Well then. Perhaps beginning the engagement in an elevated position and picking off what tuk'ata we can with blaster fire until they get to us, then finishing the rest with sabers? To take out the external pack. Inside, things are likely to become more fluid since we didn't get a great look at the entire things."

"Alright," Zeno replies. "See you then. Out." He then cuts the comms.

He turns to the others. "Got some hardware lined up. Gonna pick it up. He's definitely not a straight shooter so I don't know if he'll bring a posse, so I'd appreciate some backup at the meet. Though, if all goes well I might be able to make an ally of him. Maybe bring him up with my rise."

"You'll have backup" she says calmly. "When will we head out?"

"Yeah, I'll call you when it's time to head out but it should be later," he says with a nod.

(I'll make a thread there, but it might get retconned to not exist if I die on Zash's expedition.)

A message pings in on her pad and she reads it over quickly. After giving a brief glance to Khalim, she looks back to Zeno.

"I'll see if I can pick up a few useful things before then."

"Sounds good," he says with a nod. "We're going to need a lot of advantages probably. This thing is vicious and centuries old. It's been feeding on the dark side a long time. I aspire to be like it one day, minus the mindless, drooling part," he says.

A message almost simultaneously pings on Khalim's holopad, which he also reads. He glimpses at Shaisha, shrugs once, and then returns his attention to what's going on presently.

"Likewise. Perhaps more stimpacks or the like, and I'll make sure I have my wilderness kit with me as well...just in case."

"Yeah, stims and such will be useful. Anything else? We'll have daylight."

Two sith purebloods getting pinged at the same moment? Not likely a coincidence. "Sounds great, both of you."

They can hear the mirth in his voice as he speaks again. "There a party I didn't get invited to?"

He replies, with an amused tone, "There often is, Zeno. But no, this is something...new. At least mine is. Can't speak to hers."

"I do suppose my new hat isn't quite stylish enough for a fancy dinner party of nutrient paste and stale water." He chuckles. "Those hoity toity to encampment parties are too rich for my blood." Was that a joke about being a half-breed?

"Someone new who wants to ride the coat-tails of others' success it seems," she seems suspicious.

"Someone new got a name?" he asks curiously. "I met an aspirant earlier who seemed happy to make friends with me. Saw here around the school previously but it was the first time we chatted."

"Someone of house Okatesh. I'm wary of people contacting me out of the blue and obviously begging for aid with vague promises of something in return."

"Sinea then," he says with a nod. "I just came from speaking with her before this meeting. Mystical type. Have fun. Let me know how it goes."

After a moments pause. "If your going shopping for supplies, then I got some credits for you to pick up stimpacks." He approaches to transfer her 110 credits.

"Will do. I'll pick up that, alongside a medpac of some sort incase we need more serious treatment... and something that might be of use inside the wreck," she nods and accepts the transfer. "Any other requests, gentlemen?" Shaisha looks at both in turn.
