The Dark Academy on Korriban

He nodded.

"Maybe if you figure out more about Layne I'll let you sit in on my discussions with this coockoo." He motioned to the holocron.

She raised an eyebrow.

"I don't have high hopes of finding much, you know."

"So I should lower my expectations you're saying?" He asked with a smirk.

"Just saying to have realistic expectations," she chuckled

"So little Syl has been going on adventures without me. I really have been a bad influence."

Wandering the camp, still finding the whole lightstaber construction an utter drain on the whole of everything. Kristal wound up near the tents where Shaisha and Sylvain were. Taking a chair from somewhere and pulling it through the dirt Kristal set herself up just in front of both of them. Assuming they were inside the tents, late risers as they were.

One leg crossed over the other she sat. Waiting. Pulling the holo pendent up from out of her shirt in the mean time. Watching the images for a few seconds in thought.

Sylvain chuckled, "I suppose so.. But I think that is a good thing around these parts. As long as you don't end up with a Queen in your brain."

Hearing someone arrive outside the tent and take a seat Sly motioned outside with his head. "Looks like someone's here."

He put away the holocron in his bag again and wiggled out of the tent to see who it was.

"Oh, hey Kris." Shaisha could hear him say as she worked her way out as well.

Shaisha quietly avoided Kristal's gaze at first.

"Condolances," she murmured as she looked at her.

It was clear enough Kristal had been awake for some time, already ready for the day and back in her prime. At least as far as she would let anyone ever know, perhaps even herself.

"Good morning Sylvain," She greets with arms crossed over her raised knee.

Then, Shaisha, acknowledging her condolences with a firm nod. It was appreciated.

"What you been up to? Get that lightsaber fixed yet?" He asked with a smile.

"Working on it," little did poor Kristal know her efforts would merely culminate in another failure. Well, at least she would get it done fast! If not right at all right...

"Let me know if you need help." He smiled, "I can probably.... find someone else to help." He said with a chuckle. "So we don't have a repeat of the speeder incident."

"Tried speaking with Lord Savas? He's fairly knowledgable, he might know how to fix a Jedi's lightsaber?" Shaisha suggested.

Sylvain nodded, "That's a good idea."

"I am sure Lord Savas is knowledgeable... but.." Kristal looked to Sylvain, trying to help along an understanding.

"There is another I would wish to speak with, if I may."

Kristal wanted to maintain the spirit of the weapon as best she could. So then,

Who better to ask than her?

Shaisha looked with puzzlement at the two of them.

"Wh..." Sylvain starts to ask before his eyes open a bit, "Oh her?"

He smiled, "Yeah I guess we could do that."

"If I might steal her away for a moment, so we might converse alone." Kristal didn't say it, but there was the implication in her tone that this was for later. With a bit of a nod and a smile she showed her thanks preemptively.

It wasn't for Kristal to tell, but she seemed to have something to ask of Shaisha as well. As the head turning to her would indicate, but she didn't quite ask it just yet. "Not for me to say," she said to her puzzled friend.

"Guess it is for Syl to say then...?" she looked at Sylvain, waiting for an answer to what was going on.

"Somebody we met on our trip out to the outpost. If you had come you'd have met her too." He smiled.

Judging from her narrowed eyes, she wasn't very pleased with the answer, but it didn't seem like she was going to press the issue.

Who was she to blame the other two for having secrets...

"You can meet her now if you wish... I think you'd like her if you don't blow her off right away. She's a lot like you." He chuckled.

Of course, Kristal preferred not having to hold onto her own secrets with these two. Which is why she avoided it becoming a thing of conversation so well, like what she planned to do this morning after she was done talking to them. Sure they would understand and respect her need to do it alone, probably, despite the overwhelming amount of danger it posed to herself. It was simply easier not taking the risk, and thus she aimed to keep the conversation from drifting there.

Keeping it on Thy was much easier. There was, of course, the question she aimed to ask to.

"If we go that road," Kristal chimed in, looking to Shaisha, "I wished to ask if you had yet found anything with my problem?"

Looking at Kristal, Shaisha shook her head. "Nothing yet. Sorry. Yesterday was hectic, and I got my sire hanging over my head demanding I construct my own lightsaber asap. Also got Syl begging me for help too on a similar matter," she shot Syl a look.

"Who is this person then?"

Kristal was not one to push for results, or to really push at all when it didn't call for it. Thus she simply offered a firm nod on that note, accepting things as they were. Even, maybe if you could call it that, a brief and light smile. Because Kristal understood.

Glancing to the tent with the next question, "Perhaps we should head inside then?" she suggested before they proceeded further. Despite her assumption that Sylvain would have likely done so without her suggestion.

Sylvain nodded at Kris' suggestion. After squeezing into the tent with his two friends, legs overlapping here and there, Sylvain said, "Tie it closed."
