The Dark Academy on Korriban

Sinea sat in her tent, waiting patiently to see if the others are coming or not.

She meditated, trying to part the veil of the Force... only to be blinded.

Damn it. Need to be better.

Shaisha thought the message sounded shady and suspicious, but she decided to check it out anyway.

She cast a wary look at the unknown female Sith. "I take it you sent the message?"

Sinea looked up and smiled widely. "Sinea Okatesh, that would be me yes." She moved in a way to give some space to Shaisha. "Thank you for coming. Care for anything? I have a canister of water of the highest quality that the purifier can offer."

Khalim's curiosity also got the best of him and he makes his way to the unknown sith's tent.

Noting Shaisha already there, and nodding to the new sith, he comments, "I suppose I've found the right place, then."

"Welcome, Aspirant Tsaikzu. Sinea Okatesh, of House Okatesh, to much surprise, I am sure." She seemed overly.... warm. "I appreciate the time and trust of coming here. Of course." She spread her hands, showing how there were no weapons on her belt. "You have the better of me when it comes matters of instant life and death."

"I presume you would like to skip onto the matter, I have mentioned?"

"I'll pass, thanks," she crosses her arms and regards the woman. Khalim earns a brief smile and nod as he joins them.

"You might have to wait awhile for aspirant Jo'ren. So go ahead."

"We will be taking a small field trip to Yavin, I am sure you aware? Lovely place... for a last stand." She let that last bit hang in the air dramatically.

He raises his eyebrow, "You seem to believe that Yavin will be a last stand? Why is that?"

Sinea shrugged her delicate shoulders. "I saw." She started relaying her vision to them.



"The horde was composed of Massassi."

"It's not unknown that there are Massassi on Yavin," Shaisha points out. "And I wouldn't expect the overseers to take us for a leisurely stroll on a jungle moon."

Jo'ren yawned as he approached the tent, hearing the gathering within. "Yo, you sent for me?". He didn't know this person, but hoped they would be the same sort of quality as Shaisha and Khalim.

"That is known.... but there is a difference between a challenge and a massacre." She waved towards Jo'ren, and caught him up on her vision. She shrugged again. "I figured it is useful enough information to share with you. I rather like being alive."

"Sounds like everyone better work on their combat skills. You any good with a 'saber? Massassi are savage. Then again, maybe it will be their last stand."

He nodded at the unfamiliar Sith. "Thanks for sharing though. Good to know what may be coming our way."

"I'm curious as to why a relatively unknown student suddenly decides to share this with the other three Pureblood students here," Shaisha smiled, but there was a guarded tension there.

"Not really... nor do I have a saber just yet." Her smile was sweet as it appeared. "I prefer to stay more in the background."

She turned to Shausha next. "I am cautious by nature, and my family values prudence over audacity, so I didn't plan on standing out just yet. I observed, and you three have emerged from the others, as those who have high opportunities in front of them, and the skills and talent to grasp them. The Empire would be less with your deaths, not to mention it never hurts to have... acquaintaces with such qualifications."

"You're looking for allies, and prefer your own kind. Fair enough.". He looked at Khalim and Shaisha then back at Sinea.

"Based on your vision 'staying in the background' may not be a viable tactic. The three of us can take of ourselves, and are aware of the advantages of an alliance. So, aside from a vision of a possible future, what do you bring to the table?"

"Aren't the secrets of the future enough? My my, how greedy... I am well versed in the Lore of the Sith, and besides interrogating the future, I am also skilled at heightening my perception through the Force, and even finding specific items and people, if needed."

When finished speaking, her gaze unfocused slightly, as she delved into the future again, seeing if anything changed.

Spending Destiny and gain 1 conflict to flip to Dark

Shaisha wasn't wholly convinced. Korriban had given her two visions already when she had strained herself for it, and from what she understood of visions granted by the Force, there was little one could do to change them or fully stop them. If they were going to fight a horde of Massassi on Yavin, she would prefer to have someone who could at least manage themselves in a fight.

All Sith were expected to handle themselves in a fight. The weak, and the cowardly especially, were a liability.

She can see her training, the students are training with weapons and then the force… it is intense and she can smell the sweat and the stone and then can see herself being hit to the ground by an instructor and then being told to stand… The Overseer smiles at the brutality.

Khalim shrugs then, and glimpses between Shaisha and Jo'ren. "To be fair, I'm not sure that any of us really have much capability to gain prior warnings from the Force. Thus, she may be useful. She may be able to warn us of upcoming dangers, and in return we may be able to help protect her from them as well."

Shaisha shrugged as well, then looked at Khalim. "I've personally had two visions from Korriban during my time here since we met, Khalim." Not seeing me begging for protection.

"But if you guys are in favour of it, I guess I'm not opposing the idea."

Well, that vision was useless. She withheld an internal sigh.

"Visions from Korriban?" Sinea was pensieve for a moment. "Quite interesting.... though perhaps not as useful if far away from the planet." Apparently she showed a slight cheek.

She spread her senses out, trying to scout out their feelings... though in Shaisha's case, that was obvious. Jo'ren seemed to radiate a disgusting light though.

Shaisha was like a bright flame of emotions, kept at bay by discipline. Like any other predator, there was the suspicion of a new contender on their territory.

"Perhaps," she smirked, knowing fully well that it could change away from Korriban, or remain the same if the planet was strong with the Dark Side.

Khalim's emotional state was either that of pure neutrality/ambivalence, well concealed, or extremely well disciplined and contained. Perhaps all three.

He shrugs to Shaisha, "I've not had any visions here. And I suspect any visions that people are having here are due to the strength of the Dark Side on this planet. On less pristine planets, it may well be a valuable resource to have someone who is trained in seeing those visions even when not on a strong planet."

He smiles somewhat then, "Besides, we three hardly knew each other when we started testing each others' capabilities, and now we seem to be pretty comfortable with what each is capable of. Who is to say that this sith will not be the same?"

"Remember, I didn't show you everything, or really anything, at the start."

She grins. "And you think I've shown all?"

"As I said, I'm fine with this since you guys are."
