Zeno is a man with an intense stare and a somewhat violent sense of "honor", not taking well to blatant insults against the things he knows he is skilled with. His father secured his place at the academy after a few years of prep work to ready him. He carries the name of his noble house proudly, despite their near total human makeup. His skille in the pilot's seat and with a lightsaber are impressive for a man his age, though he does not yet have his own true lightsaber. He does, however, carry a sword that seems to be a precursor of the more elegant weapons that true sith carry, one from ages past.

Sylvain Torsin was born the son of Aramis and Raven Torsin a noble family of import in Dromund Kaas. As heir of the Torsin line which draws itself back throughout the history of the Empire, Sylvain was raised in a home that valued tradition and utilitarianism. His father was a Grand Moff in the Imperial Army and his mother is an active socialite of Noble lineage. The two of them decided to only have one child so they could devote all of their political and financial resources into his success. While Sylvain was still quite young, his family sponsored the child of an extremely influential Sith in a political move which was meant to secure his father’s position in the Ministry of War, and open up greater career opportunities for Sylvain later in life. Using his powerful ally’s clout, Aramis Torsin was able to acquire for himself the highest position in the Imperial Army, Minister of War.

The adoption of the influential Sith's daughter paid immediate dividends for the Torsin family. Shaisha’s presence however had an additional consequence that they had not foreseen. Shaisha’s force sensitivity as a small girl led Sylvain to experiment with his own capabilities, leading him and his parents to discover that he had not only a marginal ability, but exceptional ability. His parents provided him with a tutor in his youth and were able to get him into the Academy on Korriban nearly two years before now.

Sylvain’s parents encouraged him to follow this path as it not only provided them with further clout and recognition, but allowed for them to possibly extend their influence into a sphere of influence non-force sensitives cannot reach. His family firmly instilled in him a strong aversion to wasting his abilities and a commitment to use his talents for the betterment of the Empire and its cohesion.

While rumors says she is currently trying to learn sword play, everyone most knows her as more then a little crazed: She has been known in her previous school to booby trapping most of 'her stuff' which she is quite possessive of. In her own words: ''Theft attempts are in a relation of inverse corrolation with the amount of innards splattered on the walls''.

Aside from that, she is far more collected and less blood crazy then many other student as she is known to be more of a pragmatist.

Moyr is stereotypical in the appeal of her feminine graces. She has all the right things of all the right shape and pertness in all the right places at all the right angles. The light undulation of her lekku in addition to all else should be banned as a threat of cardiovascular arrest. What visually sets her apart from the Twi'lek stock is the rare carmine skin coloration qualifying her as a Lethan, and the tattoos covering her lekku replete with Sith symbolism. They are made with henna though as she likes to change 'coiffure' as any woman would. The tips of hel lekku are slightly paler than the rest of her skin, a sign of exposure to the Dark Side.

Her usual manner feeds into her seductive demeanour even if the soft, innocent sweetness of her timbre, pronunciation (imagine French accent) and gesticulation often belie and confuse the ruthless vixen's template image. She wears black, though the silken black tapes and ribbons that selectively wrap her body parts could be called 'wear' only with a leap of imagination. Barring those times when she dons the academy uniform or wraps herself in a hooded cloak over the tape-wear.

Moyr was an audacious independent smuggler that was making deals with both the Republic and the Empire, trading war materiel and supplies. She had been quite successful until her ship "Centennial Falcon" fell into a trap set by Darth Jadus. Unlike her Corellian partner-in-crime she survived the encounter and managed to avoid the slave's fate that befalls most Twi'leks. Her gift with the Force is likely a factor.

She's an anarchistic, radical spirit, subversive and seditious, disrespectful of laws and regulations, spurning restrictions and bans, unrepentant in pursuing her ambitions and passions. She has little tolerance of racial chauvinism or xenophobia, and abhors slavery. Her mindset is the direct opposite of a demure, pliant Twi'lek courtesan even if the realisation comes in hindsight for those who assume too much. If a person's worth is judged by the quality of their enemies, the Hutts are among hers.

Layne is an angry sort of person; her anger usually being the quiet and brooding sort that'll have you wondering when to expect that knife to the back because you looked at her slightly funny three months ago. It might just be because of that wonderful period of general rebelliousness that humans call the teenage years. But let's face it, it's probably because life's been shit to her, and she's not expecting that to change in the future.

Born on an outer rim planet known as Kabaira, Layne has spent most of her life as a slave; travelling to various worlds with her masters. Until they were done with her and sold her to the owners of a spice mine on the planet of Kessel. An infamously shit place to spend a life. One would think that whatever it was that ended up sending her to the academy was an improvement. But judging by that seething hatred that's always so close to the surface, one might conclude otherwise.

Of course, given that no student has heard of her before now, one might be forgiven for not knowing any of this. Perhaps an instructor makes an offhand comment about her slave past to another and you overhear it. Or perhaps they make mention of how she got sent here after a violent incident with a promising apprentice of some lord something or another. Or maybe you just notice she ain't got that noble bearing an Imperial's supposed to have.

Leilani may seem out of place in this environment, at least more so than the average student. The daughter of a noble family, known patriots of the Empire and contributors to the technology and education that would one day be used to crush the uppity republic, there were high expectations for her. She grew up on Dromund Kaas, at home in the city and highly dedicated to finding her own place serving the Empire. She was at home in the city, family tied to the upper echelons and friends of military leaders and scientists, primarily those working on weapons or research and development.

Leilani herself showed a knack for the less military and more scientific pursuits. Her parents high expectations that she would find a proper occupation as is expected of one of their stature led her to research biology and medicine. She excelled in school, educated but knowing little outside of her world. She showed great aptitude in medicine and was expected to find placement in a prestigious medical institution in the city; these rare internships were generally viewed as the fast-track to a significant position in the medical community and establishment. It would be fulfilling exactly what her parents expected of her.

However, things weren't destined to take that path. It appeared some of her aptitude with medicine was an unusual ability to analyze the wounds, indications of some things healing faster than they should naturally. Of course, if there were any indication of even the smallest thing out of place the Sith were sure to follow. They poured over the population looking for any indication force-sensitive persons that had somehow escaped her grasp. Thus, Leilani was pulled out of the world she knew and found herself on Korriban, to become Sith. Apparently Sith weren't so big on healing people.

Hooks:
-Leilani is the offspring of a member of the Kirash and Miraan families, two noble families of Dromund Kaas. The name may be familiar to some.
-She certainly seems a bit over-prepared for her time here. Word is her family splurged a bit to ensure their only daughter would be safe at the academy.
-She is practically never seen without that bag slung over her shoulder.
-Leilani is educated and knowledgeable in medicine, but perhaps a bit out of her element in the extreme and often violent academy of the Sith.
-All things considered, its hard to tell if her being here is a great opportunity or terrible, terrible luck.

Rumun is a former slave. Captured very young during the imperial military advances against the Republic. Most of the slaves in the Sith Empire live miserable lives, but Rumun did not. He somehow evaded the worst of slavery treatment. His masters found that he was not only quite smart but also have 'something' that made him quite charismatic and approachable. They trained him as a clerk and he excelled in that area.

Years passed and thanks to his job he learned lots of information, of all types. It was then, when he caught the attention of the Siths. They discovered that Rumun was a force sensitive being and his 'influence and charisma' was coming from the force all along. He was immediately liberated and transferred to several training academies, until he was transferred to the Sith Academy of Holy Korriban.

Rumun is charming, inteligent, disciplined and quite approachable. He always tries to keep a low profile. He always treats other people with respect and he is eager to know their past stories and lives. For a sith acolyte he lacks ambition, a trait that has been noticed by the Sith. But then again, he is an alien former slave, nobody expects anything from him.

There is a disquieting silence about her and a languid grace to her movements. She takes a methodical, deliberate pace to everything she does from walking to sabre training. Laconic much of the time, she is rarely the sort to begin conversation. This if often mistaken for shyness or awkwardness, when it is more often a product of her upbringing. A scion of House Farro, she along with her five sisters and two brothers, comprise the last vestiges of a once great house. Now, the labyrinthine tombs and lavish temples, erected on Korriz on the far reaches of Sith space, are now moldering ruins. There she learned at the foot of the family matriarch Ka-Tai Farro, one of the most feared sith witches of the last three hundred years.

A millennia ago her house was at the height of its power, purveyors of Sith lore and keepers of Sith Sorcery. They were renowned for their devotion to the Dark Side and were even said to worship it with arcane rituals and rites. Now their prayers and discipleship are seen as primitive and archaic. Such practices remain but House Farro is little more than a bygone relic to most Sith. Still, many sorcerers still show respect to the few Lords the remain in the decaying halls. Of the dozen that remain, decrepit and desiccated, all are masters of Sith sorcery, and when they choose to speak they are still listened to.

Jun-Tsu is here for precisely that reason. A devout handmaiden of her great-grandmother Ka-Tai Farro, it was her influence that got her great-granddaughter admitted to the Korriban academy. Intense, and somewhat obsessive, Jun-Tsu shows an almost singular thirst for Sith lore wherever it can be found. Capable in the ways of Sith sorcery and obviously a product of her great-grandmother's teachings, she longs for more and ever greater power. But to what end? She seems to have no interest in political influence or material gain, only to grow ever closer to the source of the Dark Side.

Khalim hails from one of the longest and most prestigious families of the Sith; a family which existed among the nobility even before the Dark Jedi ever set food on Korriban. The Force seems to affect the Tsaikzu family with an even greater frequency than other Sith, and the family was able to capitalize greatly on the creation of the Sith Empire.

While other true pureblooded Sith were bred out of the Empire by intermingling with humans throughout the years, the Tsaikzu family has remained pure in blood and very proud of their origins. They remain one of the few families that hasn't sullied their line with interbreeding in any way throughout the years.

Khalim's father, Darth Alamta, a well-regarded and well-respected (or possibly simply feared) Darth is currently tasked with the subjugation of worlds that have turned away from the Empire. His father's reported ruthlessness and disregard for the worth or well-being of other lesser races has cause many worlds to be either exterminated or coerced back into loyalty to the Empire.

Being the son of a Darth and the heir of an influential family, it was simply a matter of course that he would find himself at the Sith Academy. Of course, it also means he has many resources to call upon to grant him an advantage in the upcoming trials.

While of small frame, the young pureblooded Sith still catches the eye. It might be how she have the traits that define her as a true Sith of a pure bloodline, with the red-russet skin-color, the ridges on the sides of her face, or the clear golden orange-hue of her eyes. Or how, unlike many other Sith, that she is quick to smile, laugh, and seem to have a passion for enjoying life to its fullest. At the Academy, she is often seen in the company of two humans, Sylvain Torsin and Kristal Serasai, and the trio has also been observed in Kaas City when they've been off Korriban.

She has spent a few years in the Academy, switching back and forth between training at the Academy and learning from private tutors on Dromund Kaas, alongside her foster-brother, Sylvain Torsin. Shaisha speak well of the Torsin-family, but speaks little of her own family.

Apart from official records stating the Torsin family as her current legal guardians, the Imperial database seems to hold very little information on Shaisha Vreysk. Even the family name Vreysk seems to have died out over 200 years ago, according to official databases.

Bio:
Only child of Moff Serasai. Born and raised on the Capital planet Dromund Kaas. Schooled well from an early age she was taught and trained as an Imperial. Given the route to success as a capable military woman until she was discovered as a Force Sensitive. Allowing swordplay, an integral part of her families traditions, to become far more useful than simply as a tool to teach Discipline and Vigilance. As most Noble families know, the Serasai line is one of a prestigious Military history and all Serasai claim that it is a result of their family tradition. Now, it appears that she might make use of these traditions to finally elevate her family further than they had ever managed in their history, their family would one day be led by a Sith. However, nothing is ever done entirely alone, and that she was discovered as a Force Sensitive alongside her only two childhood friends has proven to be an interesting coincidence, or perhaps providence.

Only their performance at the Academy can shed light on the theories this might create.

Military discipline was instilled early in her, showing throughout much of her demeanor. Like many Imperials she comes off as Cold and Calculating, however to the few that she allows nearer they see the soldiers loyalty her upbringing had instilled within her as well.

Remmington is a descendant of Darth Balmung, who centuries ago rose to power and was named the Herald of the Emperor. Working directly under the Emperor, the Herald's duty was the rout traitors within the Sith. He formed a powerful House but as much is the Sith way became an object of fear and jealousy. House Balmung never produced any individuals at their founder's level and steadily lost power to the machinations of other Houses over the centuries. The last descendant of the House to have any real talent was Remmington's father who was considered a genius tactician. With his fall the House was finally buried.

Those left that carry the bloodline of the former Hand are shadows of their former prestige and power. Remmington is no exception to this and prefers a quiet life honing his skills and working on various contraptions. Recently he has taken an interest in the healer arts. If asked why, he will mention something about the Mechanics of Life. He arrives at the Sith Academy on Korriban as probably one of the least ambitious of the students.

Nunki is quite out of place on Korriban, despite being a fairly non descript human. Perhaps she could pass as your average acolyte at first glance, but when she opens her mouth she is very clearly not from the Empire.

Formerly a slave, and before that a prisoner, Nunki Malyna came from Alderaan, and later Coruscant. She had gotten by for a year in Imperial prison without her force sensitivity being discovered, but she could only last so long there before slipping. Now on Korriban, she has fought tooth and nail to stay alive and ahead of the pack, knowing the only way she makes it off of this dreadful planet is through a strong performance at the Academy.

She has done her best to stay low and unnoticed by most, but recently something's clicked in her mind. She'd always been somewhat reckless, and a bit quick to anger, two things which would resonate well with the Sith. Who knows, perhaps by the time her training is done, she won't wish to escape anymore...

Background
Jo’ren Rath is descended from a long line of Sith Warriors and Seekers that began with Sek’nos Rath, way back before the Republic during the height of the Infinite Empire. Although his ancestor began his life fighting for the Jedaii, he eventually found his true path with the Dark Side, founding a lineage of fierce warriors.

Jo’ren is still a youth, but has inherited his ancestor’s physique and set out the foundation of his combat skills in the Shii-Cho style. He longs to advance his ability with the Force, but for the moment satisfies himself with being an excellent lightsaber student and all-around athlete. He knows his struggle will be worthwhile and looks forward to his many future successes.

Arriving on Korriban from his family’s holdings in the heart of Imperial space he dreams of one day setting foot on Tython at the head of a Sith army, an unstoppable warrior bringing fear to his enemies. First though he has an Academy to graduate from. During this phase of his life True Sith may find him relatively pleasant company, but to most he can be summed up as a bit of a jerk. That this may simply be an act might take a perceptive individual to notice...

House Distraacht:
House Distraacht was raised from the early Zabrak shock troopers used by the early Sith after flight from the Jedi. Currently they are regarded as among the middle rung in standing, though their power is closer to the higher rung, as the House is still entwined with the Sith military, and many of their scions end up as officers. The family is often proud of their heritage to the point of arrogance, an obvious self-defense in the human and sith-centric Empire.

Xevine:
Xevine is a Zabrak and a scion of House Distraacht, one of the rare noble families of the Empire not of human descent. Appearance wise, her skin tone is red, similar to the high nobles of the Sith, and her hair flows freely. Despite the feminie face, her body has been trained for combat, and so was her mind as well.

Xevine trained in Dromund Kaas before being sent to Korriban to take part in the final rituals and exams before graduation. While her mastery of the obvious use of the Force is being worked on, her instincts and dedication have earned her a spot of prestige here.

Niriti is a beautiful woman. Her hair a shiny shade of black, it falls like silk to adorn her glowing, porcelain-like skin. Her small eyes, framed by long lashes, are a clever black and seemed to absorb the world. A small nose, inviting lips - she seemed the picture of seduction. When she smiles, the world would sigh with passion. Would she laughed, the world would fall to her feet.

Born in the destroyed planet Taris, Niriti was raised among the outcasts and forgotten. No one had nothing, not even the memory of what was there before them. Only the smog that had been characteristic to the ecumenopolis remained as a reminder of what had been the great planet, a yellow fog that warned them of an early death, as her parents reached when she was a mere teenager.

Although she lacked strength, she developed the other two characteristics needed for survival, and learned to use her beauty in her favor to get whatever she needed or desired. At age 13 she already had her own gang of boys who fought for her, including
among them strong teenage thugs.

It was during the visit of a resources vessel, in early spring, that she was witness to a small gang's unsuccessful attempt to board a spaceship. Watching the gang men being driven back and out of the port by a handful of the ship's crew, she offered her services to the men and became the new addition to the gang. Within days, she engineered the successful hijacking of a supply carrier. She, and the rest of the gang navigated the smaller hyperspace trade routes as space-pirates. The gang would also visit recent skirmish areas, scavenging whatever remained of battleships, cargo ships...

After a disagreement with the crew, since they didn't accept Niriti as their gang leader, the woman organized a trap for her own gang, and sold them as slaves to Czerka Arms who also gave her a job as a slaver because of her negotiation and people control ability. During the following years Niriti worked with the corporation supplying wookie, niktos, selkath, humans, duros, twileks... until her gift was discovered by a fellow slaver who taught her the basics of the Force and finally advised her to join the Academy.

Background:
Sinea comes from House OKatesh, one of the major houses of the Sith. While not the oldest, it is regarded to be on the rise currently, as their use of Seers has put them in a good place among the intrigues of the noble houses. Their exact motivations are unknown, but currently they are allied with Darth Xavin and Darth Thanatos.

Description:
Unlike the common picture of a dour and serious Seer, Sinea is either nondescript or outgoing. So far she hung back, and was silent during the Academy training, but now she's ready for the spotlight. An easy smile is never far away, though her own reasons for attending Korriban haven't been discussed in detail yet.
