Darth Acomo Rish

In a perfect and ordered galaxy, the dean of the Academy would be a proper Sith of human or true Sith blood, and that was the case up until three years ago when the previous dean died of natural, or perhaps not so natural causes. Over the next year there was vicious competition to secure the seat and a surprise to everyone Darth Acomo, at the time Lord Acomo came out on top backed by several members of the Dark Council. The togruta was born a slave and then elevated to Sith when her Force abilities manifested in her youth.

She was trained in a more traditional manner, by a single master and served as his apprentice until he died by her lightsaber. Her master gravely wounded in a duel with a Jedi had shown his weakness and ended his life, after the Jedi was dealt with. She served under the Ministry of War aiding in the expansion of the Empire before arriving on Korriban as a teacher of the martial arts and self defense. She is a renowned lightsaber duelist and tactician. Since taking over the Academy she has shifted resources to better prepare the students for battle.

She is severe and demanding and encourages her instructors to push the students to their limits and beyond. Casualty rates have risen in recent years but the results have also been promising, better trained and more self reliant Sith. Despite her success she is a target as an atypical Sith of high rank and there are many that would see her fall, and fall hard. She is an alpha predator and is always alert of threats to her position, she is also quite powerful personally and within the Sith answering only to the Dark Council. She still teaches on occasion, though she has many duties as she is responsible for the Academy and much of the infrastructure that supports it.

Rona Thaine

Rona is a Sith descended from a respected bloodline apprenticed to Lord Baras, who in turn serves a Dark Council member, Darth Vengen. Rona is spoiled and a skilled duelist, at least she claims to be and was appointed at the Academy to oversee logistics. Mostly she spends time bullying students and drinking expensive wines. Thankfully her underlings are terrified of her and keep things running well enough that they don’t suffer her wrath.

Rona is a true blood Sith, very attractive and has a taste for the finer things in life. Her family has a great deal of money and being an apprentice of Lord Baras, a rather accomplished Sith, gives her a great deal of influence within the Academy.

Lately she has grown bored and wants an assignment on Dromund Kaas and has been angling to find a way to get their. Lord Baras is content to leave her where she is which infuriates her as her charms don’t work on her shrewd master. In the meanwhile she plots and tries to make herself look useful without having to exert much energy to be useful.

Captain Harad Fisk

An Imperial soldier and veteran of many conflicts, Captain Fisk cut his teeth with the infantry and then transferred to Black Ops before a terrible battle injury sustained on Taris. After six months of rehabilitation and cybernetics he was back in the field. Harad is a hard man and a dedicated military man but he still maintains sense of humor and is well liked by his men. He rides them hard but knows when to give them leeway.

He has mixed feelings on the Sith though, he has seen them at their best and also how their politics and scheming can keep the Empire from rising to its full potential. He has been vocal on this front a few times which might be why he has landed as Head of Security at the Academy. One could consider this a prestigious position but not for Harad, he wants to be in the field not as he puts it babysitting children.

Despite his thoughts he takes the role seriously and he makes sure that the grounds are secure and keep people out of areas they should not be in. He does feel some trepidation answering to an alien, but he is professional and does what the Empire demands of him.

Lord Savas

An instructor in the dark arts and steeped in Sith lore, Lord Savas is a mysterious figure and mainstay of the Academy. He is at least two centuries in age, if not more and still active with his work. Lord Savas always wears a mask and has not been seen without it by anyone. Anyone living perhaps. He speaks in a quiet digital tone through his mask and is methodical and approaches everything with precision.

He is unsettling to be around and often speaks with lengthy pauses. His lectures can be engaging but he often dwells on the minutiae of the subject far longer than many students are capable of handling. Before he was brought in as an instructor he served with the Ministry of Archaeological Reclamation and has traveled to many far flung worlds in search of relics and technology of great power and significance.

He is rarely seen without his slave, Ophelia, a rather dour looking human woman who follows in his wake. Little is known about her other than she tends to his scribe work and is a silent shadow for the aging Sith Lord.

Gerald Hin

Born on an Imperial colony world, Gerald discovered his Force sensitivity only recently and has only been in training for maybe four years now. A quiet youth, Gerald is the pride of his family, a Sith within the family will elevate his family to great status, assuming he survives the training.

Although quiet, he is a passionate youth and is often conflicted at the violence he is exposed to and is expected of him. He enjoys studying Sith lore but is a bit timid when it comes to combat and lightsaber combat. He is very intelligent and open to new ideas.

Time will tell if he survives to reach his full potential.

Thorne

Thorne is a zabrak, an angry zabrak with pale skin and red markings. She is a powerful fighter and uses her size and strength to her advantage. She is violent and filled with rage and believes that there is no problem she can’t simply beat into submission. Trained on Balmorra, she was nursed on battle and lost her family when young.

She tends to be brusque and terse with people and most students avoid her as she is quick to strike out with her fists or force abilities. She is a favored student having distinguished herself in her early training but the Academy is a whole different arena.

Lord Zash

Young in appearance but Lord Zash is a skilled Sith who focuses her time on Sith Lore of an arcane nature and delving into Sith history. She is well liked by many Sith attached to the Dark Council, though some of the more Conservative members find her irritating if not despicable. Lord Zash does not seem to mind her dubious reputation as she has many friends in many places.

Sadly her direct superior, Darth Skotia despises her but also finds her quite useful. Currently Lord Zash is leading expeditions across the planet after spending a considerable amount of time offworld, most recently on Dantooine.

For now she focuses on her work.

Jaina Von

Barely into her twenties but Jaina is already a veteran of many battles, found in the Outer Rim as a child she was raised and trained as a Jedi until her mid teens. By then she had already been prove herself a skilled lightsaber fighter and seems to have a knack for fighting with a variety of weapons but she had a brash streak of following her gut and a predilection for violence. It was this taste for violence that would lead to her fall.

Whatever happened on Balmorra changed her, broke her. She says little about the events but it hangs over her every action. Now she is what she feels she was meant to be, but feels that the Sith could be more. Jaina stands out when she speaks, she lacks the Imperial accent and does not revel in the dark, some mistake this for her being soft or clinging to her old ways. Many have died for making that mistake but still she is an outsider.
