Trying with no ease to make her way into camp on a sprain Kristal passed by soldiers, and any others as she looked for a spot to get herself some rest. Never once asking for help toward her destination, brushing people off that tried to help. Once even citing the reason,

"I made it this far, I won't be giving up right at the end."

Thus, finding a chair, she placed herself in it.

[Eventual Roll for droid buddies, I was gonna ask if they got a boost die but didn't think so cause of facilities, either way didn't seem to matter for the roll  ]

Zeno's first stop was to the medical droids. Not because he needed them. But because he knew he would eventually. When he saw Kristal there he walked over and greeted her.

"Morning Kristal. How was your drop? I see you made it here pretty quickly."

"Greetings Zeno, the drop was going well..." she started, figuring now was the best time to shift herself a bit while she was distracted. It was painful, she winced.

"Until the chute caught wind and sent me down a small hill. Despite difficulties I landed nearby."

Depending on ones definition of landing.

"Gotta watch out for those hills. They can be hard to notice until it's too late," he says with a smirk to try and insert some humor.

"Good to see you made it here in one piece though."

"Certainly difficult to ascertain a slope when you're coming at the ground from that angle. Something to note for next time," she said, hoping there wouldn't be a next time.

"Usurprising you made it here Zeno, if I am to believe your words," she said, though there was no teasing to her tone she most certainly was.

"There's never a reason not to believe my words. I'm just about the most honest violent junkie you'll ever meet," he says. "I did take my time with the glider though. Was having a bit of fun and almost lost track of time. Had to make a pretty stupid approach to make it in time."

"I am sure you will have plenty of opportunity to prove it to me. As honest as you appear, I have learned better than to trust anything other than action," she said for the first. It was honest and honest alone, avoiding letting herself appear antagonistic.

"I take it, 'Only a Deathwright would have fun with an Invasion landing' is a phrase not uncommonly spoken?"

"Oh no, that's just me. I'm just about as fight crazy as they come... but you know that. Still working on it though. Disciplined attitude doesnt happen overnight."

"Got a new mentor now that's helping me with that."

"A mentor helping you? That is quite the development since we last spoke."

There was genuine approval there.

"Yes. She and I both recognize that I have a bit too much tolerance for weakness and not enough self control. I will overcome." He nods at that.

"Youbeen up to anything interesting lately other than fighting with hills?"

"Good," she said and offered a nod in turn. Affirming her satisfaction with that outcome.

"Fighting with hills?"

Kristal was curious, it was awkwardly indicative of his knowledge of something that he couldn't have been aware of. Of course, the likelihood that it was merely coincidence was high.

"You did say it was difficult to read slopes fro the air. I assumed that was why you were getting assistance from the med droids."

Kristal smiled lightly, "Ah. Understood. Apologies, it seems my thoughts have gotten away from me."

"Nothing I would care to repeat, no."

"Far from it," she admitted. "Some... things came to a boil that I had hoped to avoid."

"Unfortunate. But can the situation be cooled? That is the question and the next step to take. What will you do?" he asks leaving it vague enough to allow her to keep her secrets.

Being amongst those who had no problems with landing, Shaisha arrives at the camp to report and stow her gear. She notices Kristal and Zeno talking, but turns away as she busies herself with checking up on her equipment.

The humidity of Yavin was worse than Dromund Kaas' jungles, but she was prepared to face it.

"Perhaps not cooled, but avoided for now," she glances toward Shaisha as she arrives. Mostly just making not of a new arrival but one could make their own inferences. As she turned away she was back with Zeno.

"Which will be my plan. For now I will just move forward. When it comes time to correct things... I will."

"Well, good luck with that. If it's something appropriate for me to help with and you want a hand..." he says with shrug.

"I was wondering. Have you found a master as of yet?"

"I will keep you in mind, Zeno." There was a genuine, albeit brief, look of appreciation that followed that. Then his question, now that was a hard question. She was pretty sure, but it certainly wasn't final yet.

"Darth Marr, most likely. I believe his interest is genuine and I will be more than honored to be chosen by a War Hero of his renown."

Kristal's words were merely honest. Not really playing it up more than the simple facts they were.

He nods. "That is good to hear. Had fate not directed me to Lord Zash I likely would have sought apprenticeship under Darth Marr or Lord Hoshi. My initial thoughts were to fight on the front lines and destroy our enemies. But it seems that destiny would have me follow Lord Zash into places strong in the dark side and face unearthed dangers in order to strengthen the Empire." He seems more like he's accepted that rather than chosen that.

"Darth Marr would certainly have had a proper place for you Zeno Deathwright. The Empire could always use skilled and devoted pilots, naturally, but one among the Sith could turn the tide of battles."

Kristal was, notably, silent on her thoughts on Lord Hoshi. With the enemies she already had there was no sense making more right now with the wrong person hearing her. Even if it could be a rather well agreed upon sentiment. Lord Hoshi was a disaster waiting to happen.

"Destiny?" she questioned, "We are Sith, we forge our own destiny. If you would see yourself somewhere else merely make it so."

"We forge our own destiny in the absence of the call of the dark side. And the dark side called. Visions granted and paths opened by it's guidance," he says. "I serve it as I serve the Empire."

"The Dark Side is a tool, something we use to embolden ourselves and achieve our goals. To bow to it willingly is madness. It does not guide unless you force it, it merely consumes," she said, offering her point of view.

He grins at her. "Well, comrades can't always agree on everything. But they can always agree to have each other's backs."
