Well, if she found pottery, that would be swell, but she was more interested in getting a closer look on the building she had seen during her descent.

Dressed in her new armored attire with its cloak, Shaisha tried to keep a stealthy approach during her trek to the ancient temple. The structure truly was impressive in its size, and she circles around it to get a view of entrances and possible exits.

The temple is sealed up tight, it is a large sprawling complex though that covers a few square kilometers of territory. It could have been part of a larger settlement but that would require more investigation as it stands it is a massive stone structure that stands silent.

Why go through all the trouble of building something without an entrance? she wonders as she moves around, somewhat amazed by its sheer size.

Perhaps it had no entrance that could be found through mundane means? The thought did seem to have merit. If I try to focus on the Force, like on Korriban... perhaps it will reveal a path. Or something?

OOC: Is it possible to try to commune with the Force here, like on Korriban? Or is the Dark Side not as strong?

OOC: Discipline roll at Average to see if you can feel the rhythms of the Force here.

Shaisha kneels down, a hand touching the walls of the temple, as she reaches out and open herself up to her connection to the Force.

“Trying to find the secrets of the ancients, little lady,” Anya says with a smirk. She limped on a crutch, her leg in a kolto filled brace. She moved forward towards the sith woman.

“Find anything interesting?”

Shaisha can feel a great deal of toil and can see vague impressions of thousands of massassi building the structure under the guidance of masters from the stars. Ancient sith and exiles from Korriban. The structure is old but the purpose is still not known to her.

Shaisha looks up at Anya has her vision ends, taking note of her limp and injury.

"Only ancient history, it seems," she says in a neutral tone. Even if the old Sith lady was wounded, she wasn't sure if she could take her on here and now.

“Ancient history is my specialty,” she says stopping at a comfortable distance to speak.

“The massassi see Yavin as a god, she dominates the sky and watches over them. She demands blood though and they fight vicious conflicts for her favor. Savage creatures, I rather like them, reminds me of home,” she says with admiration.

"You learn that in the library, or pick it up somewhere else?" she asks, biting back a sly comment on how skydiving didn't seem to be her speciality.

“Lord Savas has extensive knowledge,” she says in reply.

“I read like a diligent student.”

"I'm sure you do, Anya Veers," she says and stands up from where she had knelt.

Damn, keep the sarcasm and snark in check.

"Nevermind, just getting used to the feel of this place," she shakes her head and makes a gesture to Anya's crutch. "I see the landing today didn't go so well for you?"

“Your feelings betray you,” she says brushing off the latter comment.

“You know me, or at least you fear me.”

"I know who you are, yes."

“And you don’t have any fear? How brave of you,” she says calmly.

“So now what, are you going to do the Sith thing and try to find some leverage to aid you in your pathetic quest to dominate the galaxy?”

She raises an eyebrow. "Sounds like some have tried that with you already, I'm guessing. And what I'm not planning on doing that?"

She sits down on a ruined stone block and says, “The Sith as they exist today are not my people. My people are dead this time is strange to me but I have adjusted. I am a Queen, and I cannot be but what I am. You have the blood of my people even if you lack the strength of my people.”

“I sense something more though, there is personal animosity. Why?”

"You possessed a friend of mine, I think I'm allowed a little animosity," she shrugs.

"Times change, and before your time, the Sith were also different. The Sith will be different again when we are both gone. I take it as a Queen, you have not reacted well to these people trying to take advantage of your situation?"

“It was an opportunity, he was weak enough and willing,” she says with a smile.

“My enemies will suffer in time, some sooner than others. I don’t yet count you among them, but given the direction of this conversation that can change.”

"Relax, I have no intention of blackmailing you on this. Blackmail really isn't my style, " she smiles as well. "It's Torsin's style, and yeah, while he was my friend when you possessed him, we're not that close anymore."

"I'm guessing he and I aren't the only one who knows?"

“A few, it was bound to come out… sooner or later. I find this Empire weak and detestable, filled with sycophants and children squabbling for galactic power. I like power but I see no reason to being onto more shoulders more concerns than I need,” she says honestly.

"I guess we can agree on that," she nods a little. "Though the power-plays at Korriban isn't really much compared to what goes on with the commanding Sith'ari of the Empire. Besides, the larger the group, the more people fighting for scraps. Even the old tribes had people in the lower rings of society fighting amongst themselves for every bit of power they could amass, no?"

“Well of course, Korriban demands struggle, it is what made us who we are,” she says.
