“It depends, will you be an advocate for me and my people to your Empire?” she asks honestly.

Jo'ren thought about everything that had happened to him in the last few weeks. His trials. His search for power. The wisdom he had gained. His feeling about what it meant to be Sith. "When I first learned who you were I was suspicious and thought you might be a threat to the Empire. Now I can see that you are a reminder of what my people once were, and what the Massassi can be in the future."

He nodded. "Sense my feelings or thoughts if you wish. Yes, I will be your advocate. I will help with preparing your people to integrate with Darth Vengean's forces. That should help to shield you from the petty politics of the Council for long enough to become established. And I will lead this effort myself, rather than turning it over to diplomats. That way you will know that I truly mean what I say."

“Then I look forward to our future partnership, Sith. My people will learn much form you and I in trun will do all I can to make the massassi an asset to the Empire and show the galaxy our strength,” she says with a calm but regal look.

"I welcome the chance to get to know my distant cousins, my Queen." He bowed his head in a gesture of respect then looked out over the forest again. "There is much about this world that interests me, so I welcome the chance to explore it further. There may yet be undiscovered relics of Exar Kun hidden away in the jungle. Even if not, the chance to meet his spirit once again is one I embrace."

His gaze returns to meet hers. "There is just the small matter of defeating the Yubashi to deal with, and then the future is ours."

“I will take you on the hunt and show you the hidden places,” she says.

He felt a primal urge and gave a feral smile. "I would be honoured."

She smiles, “Good I need a good hunt to sate my urges. Predator versus prey, the primal urge to prove that you are alive, strong versus the weak. Dominance.”

“You can hunt with me, Sith. If you can keep up.”

Jo'ren gestured expansively. "Then let us hunt, to celebrate our new alliance." He got the distinct impression that he was going to enjoy this... Raths were fighters, and they were seekers. He let himself feel the fierce joy of the adventure to come.

And so they hunted...
