The Dark Academy on Korriban

Moyr had received the message to meet at the village late in the night. There she would find a gathering of the women and Jug’tih was speaking with Veers and they were having a pretty animated conversation. The young woman had discarded her normal cloths for more feral attire and seemed to be enjoying the conversation even if she still had a crutch.

The men stood further back watching with awe as Veers explained things to them.

Having difficulty sleeping because of various issues that had occurred throughout the day, Moyr didn't mind. That was curious enough, and yet it clicked with a pattern that had formed since she first started pondering who the hell Veers really was.

She passed the guards and approached the gathering, greeting Jug'tih with a proper gesture she had only recently learned.

"Somehow I am not surprised you're getting along well here."

She commented quietly when standing close to Veers.

“They make me feel at home,” she says.

The massassi greet Lekka proudly. They offer her a seat and some bloodwine.

Veers smiles, “So, I promised you power… and power you shall have but I need your help.”

"I am listening."

Moyr uttered between exchanging smiles and enjoying foodstuffs.

“I grow tired of this weak puny form. I need… something better… something more to my liking. These primitives remind me of my people, we were like them once, strong and fierce. Jug’tih has heard my tales and heard my words and as a blood walk of her people she has the right mindset to be my vessel, we just need more power,” she says.

“Aid me and I shall grant you a token of my favor.”

"Am I to be a midwife in a birth of a Massassi queen of Yavin?"

Moyr pondered with a small smile.

"Why? To forge a greater legend than the one entrapped in the Black Vault?"

“She was… she became something to be loathed, I will aid these massassi to become worthy successors of the ancient Sith. To terrify and pacify the enemies of the Empire and those that serve you and your master’s interests,” she says with a nod.

Veers then says words proudly to the massassi who cheer and raise weapons.

She looks back to Moyr, “You would be a legend, the one who brought this tribe greatness.”

"You know, I want them to be greater than they are now, and I realise primary power is born on bloodbaths. Your first task would be to lead the Gunda to victory over the Yubashi to the south. Further down the road, do you think you can create an order that grants freedom for the strong no matter their humble origins?"

Moyr was apparently not appalled by the perspective. Neither was she too hyped up about becoming a legend. She had her own priorities.

“I would create a society that values strength and not mired in the dogma of whatever the Sith think they are. The Empire is here and they will not leave willingly, but under my guidance I can brig these tribes to heel, especially if you aid me with the ritual.”

“In my time the strong were rewarded, even slaves could rise if they proved their worth. It was the coming of the star people that changed us… made us weak. Made us Sith, and got us swept up in the petty games of the galaxy,” she sneers.

“Freedom is earned, but it is possible,”

Moyr nodded in approval.

"Do you hold grudge against someone in particular that you would use your power against?"

“None of you children are worth my time,” she says dismissively.

"None of people I favour either."

Moyr insisted.

"Under this condition I'll help you."

“Good, then listen… you will need to prepare your mind. Suffuse yourself with dark side energy and then when I call for it strike me down. I have already taught my successor the proper words. Then we shall birth a new age for these people,” she says proudly.

"Are they prepared for this to happen?"

She glanced around at the Massassi watching.

“They understand enough of what is to take place. Jug’tih knows more than most but she is prepared,” she says and then speak to Jug’tih who nods in agreement and then pound her chest.

“Are you ready?”

Moyr reached out to the Dark Side to check her attunement to it, her readiness.

The Dark Side began permeating her mind... She nodded to the future queen of the Messassi that she was.

Moyr cuts down Anya and she watches a black mass rise out of the corpse and into the chanting Jug’tih… the massassi howls and screams as her body is suffused with the ancient spirit. Her flesh knits and shifts until she rises a powerful and strong ancient sith like woman.

Jug’tih smiles and says, “Long live the Queen…”

She holds out her hand and Veers lightsaber flies to it with ease. She admires the weapon and says, “It is no axe, but I have come to admire its killing power.”

She turns to Moyr as the massassi bow to the new queen and adds, “You have my thanks.”

"Great be your reign."

Moyr replied, having watched the dark ritual without much flinching as she held her double-bladed Passion in her hand after the deed had been done. In a sense, for all its gruesome reality she watched an act of emancipation and that never resonated bad in her. She had spared Anya's corpse a single glance.

"I believe the queen has an oath to fulfil."

“I am a Queen of my word,” she says.

“What boon would serve you best, Moyr?”

"Nwûl tash.
Dzwol shâsotkun.
Shâsotjontû châtsatul nu tyûk.
Tyûkjontû châtsatul nu midwan.
Midwanjontû châtsatul nu asha.
Ashajontû kotswinot itsu nuyak.

She paused, the repeated in Basic.

"The Force shall free me. I want my connection with the Dark Side to strengthen in either general or specific way so I can be the true master of my fate."

Jug’tih says harsh words to the massassi and then bring forth a war mask. She smiles and says, “This is the face of Red God, this is Yavin to them. It is suffused with the dark side. It shall strengthen your connection to the dark side of the force.”

OOC: Yavin War Mask – Grants 1 extra Dark as long as it is worn, reduces strain threshold by 2.

Moyr grinned maliciously upon receiving the mask, and donned it, revelling in the dark awareness it brought her. Her ability to sense and manipulate emotions became sharpened, the dark tendrils of her power palpable. The weight of the shadow of the Red Planet on her temples was a small price to pay.

She thought of Jadus when she threw the cloak hood over her head, becoming just a dark figure in an ominous red mask.

"Thank you, Queen of the Gunda, and soon of many other Massassi tribes. This Red Face o Yavin you've just given me will cast a long shadow on many other worlds."

Moyr paused, looking at the corpse.

"The husk should be disposed of."

She smiles and says, “It will be consumed. They will gain her power.”

She gestures and the massassi take the corpse to prepare for… consumption.
