Sinea groggily stepped foot into the village, looking for something to eat. She was half-concisously dragging a bisected vine cat corpse behind her, and her hair was a mess. Stupid cats, stupid jungle, stupid rain, stupid Von, stupid Seer in the middle of the night. She managed to sleep through the morning, mostly, but damn... that wasn't gooda time to meet with the crazy woman.

"Ugh" was her elegant response to the new day ahead. Oh, the day when they would die.

When Sinea told him she wanted to visit the village he had been initially skeptical. But she was a stubborn one, and he was on friendly terms with the villagers, so he offered to go with her.

It was a struggle not to laugh. "Not enjoying the weather Aspirant Okatesh?"

Sinea looked up at the Red Menace. "No. I also prefer to enjoy storms behind a window sipping wine." She gestured towards the cat corpses. "Want to lend a hand while we look for food?"

"Looks quiet around here." Jo'ren noticed that many of the villagers seemed to have left. "Wonder if they're preparing for the attack to come?"

Since they had seemed happy enough to provide food the day before he didn't expect it would be a problem today, although he looked a bit skeptical of Sinea's vine cat.

"You sure trying to trade that thing is a good plan?"

She looked at him, almost glaring. "Well, I'd rather try and trade this then my clothes. Or do you want to eat it perhaps?" She looked around. "Yeah, there are few people.... I wonder how're they at fighting? They seemed fierce, but fierce does not equal skilled."

The massassi village is active many of the villagers are sharpening weapons, applying war paint, and leaving sacrifices out for favor in battle. One moves to stand in their path and says primitive words and then looks at the vine cat and then back to Sinea and Jo’ren.

Jo'ren nods to the warrior and then mimes eating. He expects that Sinea will catch on.

The massassi nods and has some of the children bring fish and bread. Even the children have knives and weapons and seem eager for conflict. They also seem fascinated by the strangers.

She gestured towards the cat and then towards the warrior, and mimicked eating like Jo'ren. "You know.... I'm almost tempted to see if I can get some armor out of this, but their stuff seems more like your size then mine."

The big red menace signalled his thanks to the massassi and sat with them to eat some fish and bread. "You know, after Academy paste I think I could stand to eat this stuff for a year."

He looked her up and down and laughed when she spoke about armour. "Maybe the kids have something in your size. I think I'd find massassi armour...roomy. Besides, it's a bit low tech, don't you think?"

"What's that you got there?" asks a shadow from between several huts. When the pair turn towards the source of the voice they see that it was the willowy shape of Niriti who had spoken. Like an appearance she covered the distance between them floating above the village, as if she were from another reality where all was beautiful. She placed her hand over the fur and caressed it. "Some great capture you made here."

OOC: Negotiation versus 2 difficulty and 2 challenge, good luck. You may use Destiny.

Niriti got the main idea of the pair of acolytes and came closer to them while talking about the great capture that the pair had gained. "Why I've never seen such pelt, such size on a creature such as this. It's shiny and brilliant! And would you look at those claws and teeth?! Why I'd be a fool not offering to buy this piece, but I could not be able to reach a decent price and my offer would only be an insult. But probably I need not talk about the amazing sample that has been brought to the local merchant."

Negotiation Average, 2 Challenges. Destiny on Upgrade: 3eP+2eD+2eC 1 success, 1 advantage

The massassi is receptive to the trade...

OOC: Unclear what you want, I know you are trading the pelt correct? The massassi have primitive weapons, weapons, armor, and relics they might part with. The relics ahve historical value, some monetary but that is about it.

"That bracelet looks quite pressy, don't you think dear Niriti?" She moved next to the human woman and smiled at her. "Perhaps we can trade a cat for a shiny."

"Looks like a decent object, yes. As worthy, or a bit less, than your cat here. Although from the feline you can get much more benefits."
