Character Creation will be standard as in the book, Force and Destiny. Allowed species are all species from that book, Force and Destiny, plus the following: Duros (Age of Rebellion), Rodian (Edge of the Empire), and
True Sith. Droids are not a viable species for this game, they will be allowed in future games.
Rules Mods: Every character in this game will have access to Lightsaber (Brawn) as a Career skill regardless of career and specialization due to the emphasis of that part of Sith Training. There will also be Background choices that will adjust some aspects of the character and starting
Reputation which begins at 5, a measure of how well liked they are by faculty and students. The only allowed book is
Force and Destiny. Listed below are the Backgrounds.
In the case of backgrounds, they cannot raise a starting skill above 2 as per normal rules. All non-humans have their reputation reduced by 1 expect True Sith, they have their reputation increased by 1.
Backgrounds- Imperial Citizen: The character was a citizen of an Imperial world before they manifested Force Powers, the discovery got them sent to be trained and then transferred to Korriban. The character is now learning to be Sith, mysterious figures that dominate their society. The character gains 1 rank in Education (Intellect). No change to starting Reputation.
- Elevated Slave: Perhaps born into slavery or a recent acquisition, you were branded and if not for manifesting your Force talents would be serving on some penal world slaving away till the end of your days. You are now being told that you could be a Sith if you complete your training and must throw off the trappings of a slave and become a true master of the Empire. The character gains 1 rank of Resilience (Brawn) and their starting Reputation is reduced by 2.
- Heir to a Sith Bloodline: You descend from line of distinguished Sith and have been groomed for Sith life since birth. You are expected to excel and the reputation of your family precedes you, or perhaps your distinguished bloodline. Instructors will expect you to do well, as will your family. The character gains 1 rank in Discipline (Willpower) and their Reputation is increased by 1.
- Imperial Noble: You come from nobility among the Imperial class, your family has wealth and influence and now a potential Sith. There is a great deal of pressure for you to succeed and bring great power to the family. The character gains 1 rank of Cool (Presence) and there is no change to starting Reputation.
- Criminal/War Prisoner: You were a criminal perhaps from outside the Empire scheduled for execution or a lifetime of prison when your Force powers were discovered. Perhaps you were a young padawan to be and were captured, either way now your only path to freedom and survival is to survive training or die. The character gains 1 rank of Deception (Cunning) and their starting Reputation is reduced by 1.
- Fallen Sith Line: Your family was great once but now are nearly a forgotten relic. Perhaps they suffered a great defeat or maybe defected to the Republic, whatever happened has brought great shame and disdain for you and your family. The character gains 1 rank of Vigilance (Willpower) and their starting reputation is reduced by 1.
