The Dark Academy on Korriban

Zeno pulls up to the spot given in a land speeder rather than the usual speeder bike he preferred. He needed the cargo space. Shortly in tow are his compatriots and back-up in case the corrupt soldier was plotting an ambush. He didn't like being ambushed too much.

Shaisha stops her sleek speeder beside Zeno.

"You look like shit, Zeno." She says as she sizes him up.

"Well, protecting my comrades often comes at a price," he says with a shrug. "Just a little shock."

Her nimble hand slips into one of the compartments of her belt and pulls out a stimpack. "Here," she says, tossing it over. "Will sharpen you up a bit."

"Appreciated. I'd say I'd get you back, but I think I'm about to with some hefty hardware," he says with a smirk. He puts the stim to his neck between his helmet and shoulder. A sigh of relief can be heard.

The Corporal is there on time but not alone, there is another man with him red hair, professional cut with the rank of Ensign. He smiles and directs the Corporal to drop two bags. Behind him are ten Imperial soldiers with their helmets on.

Behind them is a transport speeder with lights highlighting their forms.

Khalim also pulls up in his speeder, ready for the drop, or anything else that the supplier might have planned.

"So this is your friend, then, Zeno?"

"It is and a few other friends." He says, switching his helmet's scanner goggles to help diffuse the light so that he can see better.

"Corporal. I assume this is your commanding officer. Ensign Hines is it?" he says in a pleasant tone. He pulls out his datapad.

"I've got the coordinates on here encrypted." He starts going through the process of decrypting them while simultaneously sending a text message to Moyr. IF I DISAPPEAR, HINES.

Khalim clicks his scanner goggles over to thermal and gives the surrounding area a quick scan to see if there might be any -other- "friends" out there.

While the boys kept an eye on things with their toys, Shaisha relies on her natural eyesight and glances around to make sure there isn't anyone hiding and waiting for signals for an ambush.

Ensign Hines smiles and says, “You must be Aspirant Zeno, I have been waiting to meet you. I made sure to take care of your request, I figured it was time we got acquainted.”

“That is some serious hardware, now I won’t ask what you need it for just as long as we have an understanding.” He raised his blaster and put a bolt through the Corporal’s skull. The man crumples to the ground in a heap.

“I don’t appreciate being kept out of the loop. If you need any further requisitions you go through me. I think we can have a good relationship. We just need to observe the rules of engagement.”

Khalim does not see any other surprises in the desert but the men in front of him are carrying blaster rifles and armor with military grade equipment, they are ready for problems.

"That's fine with me. I didn't know you needed to be kept in the loop. And the guy that should have known better has learned his lesson," Zeno says with a shrug. "I think we can benefit each other a great deal. Especially once I graduate this place."

"But as for those rules of engagement. Neither of us works for each other. We're friends that do favors. If that's alright with you then I think we're off to a good start." His smile can't be seen through the mask, but you can practically hear it. "I imagine that having a friend among the sith rather than someone you try to dangle shit over is far more beneficial in the long run no?"

The aspirant approches with his hands clasped in front of him, clearly not reaching for his blades.

“Of course, I would want a partnership with a future Sith of great importance,” he offers his hand.

Zeno shakes the ensign's hand. "Pleasure doing business. Glad we could come to an accord. Looking forward to more."

Hines nods with a smile and says, “May the Force make you strong in your future endeavors.”

"And may you have fortune in your endeavors," Zeno replies. He steps over to the bags, interested in inspecting the merchandise, unzipping them each in turn.

Khalim remains silent, yet vigilant. After all, these were Zeno's contacts.

Shaisha trusted Zeno when it came to inspecting the goods, so she continues to keep an eye on their surroundings.

"Nice. Your ID? I'll transfer you the coordinates," he says. "And after you do what you want with them they'll be useless to me. Well, maybe they'll make for a good dead drop in the future." He chuckles.

Hines transfers his ID and smiles as he says, “It’s refreshing to work with a professional.”

"Agreed," he says with a nod. "He takes up the bags and starts heading towards his landspeeder. "Til we talk again."

Hines nods and turns and gestures for his men to head out, the matter was settled.

Once they were all clear and ready to go on their speeders Zeno sends off the coordinates to Hines.

Khalim nods to Zeno, "Smooth enough. Good gear for the attack?"

As the encounter seems to have ended, Shaisha relaxes a little.

"I brought along a power supply incase we get into the wreck, and have need of getting anything in there online. Probably not going to need it, but I suppose we could find some use for it," she gestures to the pack on her speeder.

"And the rest of your stimpacks, Zeno," Shaisha hands him the remaining ones.
