Hruk shrugs and adds, “Thaya said you were smart. Guess she was right.”

Thaya adds, “So you want to live or die?”

'' You overestimate my intelligence, but thanks for the compliment''

'' Well that seems like a fair trade...'' He smiles back at Thaya. '' But before I give you an answer, I would advise against killing me. You lack some 'variables' to solve this equation.'' He tries to talk his way out of this problem.

'' May I turn around Really my back is hurting alot, my lady. Two to one, I'm unarmed and really I'm not the 'best' of fighters around, So please may I talk you face to face?'' He asked politely.

Thaya nods and gives him some space, “I can agree to that.”

'' Ah, thanks. That hurt a lot'' Th duros turn around and caressed his back.

'' Now before we begin, I have some questions and a lot of answers that could posibly be in your interests, my Lady'' Rumun sat in a nearby rock calmly and uses a cooperative tone of voice.

'' You follow me so as to loot whatever I found. Well, thou I must be grateful that you held me in such high steem, thanks.'' Rumun bows '' But, I'm afraid that your quest could be for nothing. I'm one of the worst students around. Tell me, why did you not followed more highly reputed aspirants? What glory will bring to you stealing and/or killing some one like me? Probably nothing.'' He says calmly.

a pause

'' But rumours say that you are quite an impressive aspirant, skilled, charming and it seems that your reputation had caught the attention of -two- high ranking Sith'' He emphasised in the word two. He smile at her.

“Because no one will miss a wretched alien like you,” she says flatly.

“You’re disposable.”

'' You are quite right! You forgot to add former slave to that description, though'' He smiles.

'' But you are wrong in the part that nobody will miss me. Well, not in a way that they actually care about me, but because I have a mission that, unfortunately, involves -you-, Darth Skotia's favorite student.''

She narrows her eyes and says, "Skotia warned me that I might be a target."

'' Ah, then we are on the same page''

'' You are quite right, you are being targeted. Well, by me...'' He smiles.

He raised his hand in a sign to wait for him to finish.

'' ... but before you start igniting that lightsaber and cutting me in half, let me say that it was never my intention to do it. Nor I was going to try it. How could I possibly win against you? You are way better trained than me. This whole situation confirms that, eh? And while it is considered a weakness I do have some soft spot for former slaves.'' He looks at her face markings.

'' Killing me, though inconsequential right now, could bring serious repercussion for you. If the one that - ordered me - ,against my will to kill you, know that I failed and you still are alive, well, he would probably search for a more prepared student or perhaps comes himself and well finish what I could not''

“Who wants me dead,” she says after a moment of thought.

'' Who could possibly have a grudge against you? my Lady'' He asked her

'' Or perhaps the grudge is not against you, but against someone who has connections with you, eh? Well? You know, sometimes grudges go beyond our scope of view, we are pawn in some devious game. Your connections brought you some dangerous attention to yourself. Killing me will only reinforce the idea that you are a threat that must be dealt, with more -personal- attention'' He says seriously.

'' Why Darth Skotia warned you in the first place? He already knew that you were at danger. He knew that someone was going to target you. Perhaps he has some old grudge, eh? I don't know much about Lord Skotia's past, but perhaps he made some enemy, one that will not stop until he/she sees him destroyed.''

Hruk adds, “Just kill him and be done with it.”

“Quiet, the adults are talking Hruk. Now alien, you seem to know a whole lot about this, how would you proceed?” she asks.

'' Well, not killing me would be a nice start'' He looks at Hruk and smiles.

'' I do have some contacts that have interesting information about the -one- that wants you dead. Information that perhaps could be useful for Lord Skotia.''

'' Now, like I said, I don't want to kill you nor I will try to betray you. You know why? Because I hate to be ordered around. I don't want to be some pawn in some game. I don't want to be some wretched piece in a board. Screw that and them. I'm done with being ordered around...'' Rumun begins to feel the darkside.

'' I don't care what you think, I gave you the information that probably will give you some time to live. But I warn you, killing me or staying around here will only make you more and more vulnerable. You are not dealing with some lowly student. This is a powerful force, the one that want you dead.'' He was completly honest.

A pause

'' I probably would prefer a solution that could help both of us, if you have a suggestion, by my guest... we are both screwed because of this. Oh, and Hruk, you are probably screwed as well because you have connection with Lady Thaya. I warn you that this Sith will probably kill you all in an attempt to hurt Lord Skotia's interests.''

“But, you reveal all to Darth Skotia.”

'' Fine '' He nods

'' I'm glad we found a solution to this impasse, my Lady ''

She nods and uses her lightsaber to cut the stone door in half with a practiced cut.

“After you, Rumun.”

Rumun takes out his handheld scanner and his comlink once again. He looked at Thaya's eyes and smiled. '' Nice strike, my Lady'' Then he entered the old burial tomb.

The tomb smells sweet? He sees several technological devices like stasis chambers with various forms of… sweets? It was a rather odd collection that lined the walls of the circular chamber which was mostly metallic, no dust as the interior had been sealed.

It looks like a variety of cakes and breads…

Thaya says, “What is this place?”

Rumun shrugs.

'' I don't know, I was about to find it when we had our -conversation-. Seem like Lord Grenya was a bit too fond of sweets?'' He says calmly. '' Hmm interesting, well as you can see Lord Grenya was not a, how do I say it?, a famous Lord. Her burial tomb shows that. She was not an Ajunta Pall or a Darth Traya...''

'' But perhaps there's something interesting about this place, let's look around. Be careful though, even if we are not talking about someone in the league of Lord Qel-Droma, we are still on the burial place of a Sith Lord...''

This place probably has some secrets, I felt the darkside inside...

The duros finds a hidden compartment that opens the main sarcophagus in the center of the tomb exposing a moldering corpse with a lightsaber on her chest. Before he can grab it fly across the room to Hruk and he smiles, “Well I got what I want…”

“This is where we part ways.”

Thaya says, “What?”

“I am going to kill you two, take your saber and claim the find as my own. That should earn me favor with Lord Zash,” he says with a sinister grin.

Hruk charges across the chamber and tries to tackle Rumun he hits the Duros sharply but tumbles to the ground in his excitement. Thaya takes advantage of his tumble and ignites her saber and plunges it into Hruk’s back.

She looks at Rumun and says, “Finish him!”
